Abstract/Summary:
Talent is an important resource for enterprise competition.middle management personnel are a core part of the enterprise,a very important human resource of the company,and an indispensable role in the high-quality development of the company.They play a connecting role in the enterprise.As a company with new energy generation as its main business,G Company must attach importance to talent cultivation and selection in order to win a place in the development of the times.With the increasing installed capacity of G Company,the management level and quality of middle management personnel will largely restrict the rapid development of the enterprise.This paper takes the middle management of G Company as the research object,and constructs a competency model for the existing human resource management status of middle management personnel.Firstly,22 competency elements were identified through literature research and analysis;Then,13 competency elements are added in combination with the job responsibilities and competition conditions of middle management personnel;Using behavioral event interviews to analyze and add7 competency elements;Finally,26 competency elements were determined through expert interviews.Afterwards,using a questionnaire survey method,all employees of G Company were invited to rate these 26 competency elements,and data was obtained.Reliability and validity analysis was conducted on the obtained data,ultimately resulting in 19 competency elements.Then,through dimension reduction,three common factors were extracted,which were named knowledge,skills and personal characteristics in turn,and the factors were elaborated and explained in detail.Finally,competency indicators suitable for middle management of G Company were formed.This paper builds a competency model for middle management personnel suitable for the current situation of G Company,and introduces the model into recruitment,training,performance management,employee career planning and other links to improve the efficiency of human resource management,so as to provide assistance for the development of the company.It is hoped that the research results of this paper can provide a basis for the selection,recruitment,training,reserve talent echelon and performance appraisal of G company’s middle management personnel,and can provide a reference for other power generation enterprises to build the competency model of middle management personnel.
