| With the speeding up of urbanization construction in our country,great change has taken place in the daily leisure life of contemporary city residents.With the growth of people’s needs,the design layout of the existing city small park square is simple and single,which is difficult to meet the needs of people’s diverse activities types at present and presents obvious limitations.This is the current conflict between small urban park squares and their users.In view of this contradiction,this paper selects a small park square in Wuhou District of Chengdu City as the research object for field investigation.It mainly uses the observation method to observe a series of daily behavior activities in real time on the spot,and records relevant data for analysis and research.Firstly,this paper studies the background of the development of urban small park squares and the problems it faces,defines the content and scope of the research object,comprehensively analyzes and summarizes the research status of urban park squares and public space at home and abroad,summarizes the purpose and significance of this research,and formulates the methods and technical routes adopted by this research.Lay a foundation for the following research,to ensure the smooth development of the paper.Secondly,I refer to relevant theoretical basic research for in-depth analysis.The main research related to the research topic of this paper includes place space(compound open space,"livable" concept,accessibility and equity),user behavior(user behavior,place dependence),post-design evaluation(POE method,pre-plan-post-evaluation system),etc.In addition,relevant cases at home and abroad are selected for analysis,which is worth learning and reference,providing theoretical basis and case practice support for the development of this paper.Thirdly,the author conducted field investigation on 12 small park squares in Wuhou District of Chengdu,namely Huishang Park,Crescent Lake(park),municipal Park,Jitai Road Vitality Park,Tuqun Park,Shunjiang Community Park,Wanxing Road Recreation Park,Wuhou Life Square,Chaoyin Water Bank Park,Wuhou Law Culture Square,Chengdu Law Park and Hongpailou Municipal Park.According to the type,it can be divided into three categories: old park square,transformed park square and newly constructed park square.Through all-weather observation records and case survey tables,the current situation is visually displayed in the form of data,and quantitative and qualitative analysis is carried out to sort out the existing problems of small park squares in Wuhou District of Chengdu and the improvement needs in the future,providing a strong basis for improving the design system of small park squares in Wuhou District of Chengdu.Finally,by analyzing the problems obtained from the field investigation,this paper explores the design optimization countermeasures of small park square in Wuhou District,Chengdu,and promotes the perfection of post-design evaluation system,so as to guide the preliminary design of the project scheme in the early stage,so as to achieve the purpose of the overall virtuous cycle of design,and improve the functional problems of public space in the completed urban park square project.And strengthen the vitality of the use of public space in the urban park square project under construction or to be built,so as to create a better urban small park square public space for urban residents and improve the quality of life of urban residents. |
