Study On The Influencing Factors Of Spatial Form Of Historic Blocks Based On The Combination Of SD Method And Space Syntax

Historical district is the earliest,most distinctive and most representative area in the early stage of urban development.The old town,especially the historic district,is a region with distinctive regional characteristics,embodies the spirit and human characteristics of a city,and continues to influence People’s Daily life in the form of "active cultural heritage".However,at present,the renovation work in China often focuses on the renewal and preservation of individual buildings and space,ignoring the structural and subjective characteristics of the street network itself,resulting in a series of problems after the renewal of some traditional street networks.To solve these problems,we must change the traditional concept of static protection and strengthen the research and understanding of street behavior network in traditional blocks.A more accurate renovation of historical blocks and their spatial forms requires a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods,and attention to the feelings of residents living in the blocks during the renovation.SD methods are increasingly used in architectural,landscape and planning studies or economic development studies.Kano model can analyze the relationship between customer satisfaction and quality attributes of Kano model by analyzing customer demand and classifying customer demand to determine the importance of different quality attributes.After many years of generation,development,demonstration and improvement,spatial grammar has developed into a comprehensive and systematic architectural theory.Based on the above,this paper combines the SD method with space syntax to construct a more comprehensive research method on the factors affecting the spatial form of historic blocks.Taking Yanshou Street historic Block in Beijing as an example,through this new research perspective and the technical means of quantifying the street network system of historic blocks,this paper discusses the public demand,current situation and factors affecting the spatial form of Yanshou Street historic block.It provides some guidance and support for the inheritance and sustainable development of Yanshou Street historic block,and verifies and confirms the applicability of spatial grammar theory of SD method in the study of space and form and spatial factors affecting historic block.This study is divided into four chapters.The first and second chapters are the basic research part of the paper,the third chapter is the method construction part,and the fourth chapter is the empirical case study part.The specific contents of each part are as follows.Part 1: Asking Questions.It includes the research background,research purpose and significance,concept and connotation analysis,research innovation,research area overview,research methods and framework of historical district spatial form.The second part: theoretical research.Citespace software is used to sort out the domestic and foreign researches on historical blocks and space syntax,summarize the current research hotspots and research fields,and elaborate the methods involved in this research.It points out the feasibility of combining SD method with space syntax to study the influencing factors of historical blocks.Part Three: Method construction.Firstly,the constitutive elements and influencing factors of the spatial form of historical blocks were analyzed through the research of existing scholars,which served as the basis for the selection of SD questionnaire factors.Secondly,the theoretical basis and methods for different analysis of space syntax were determined.Finally,the analysis results of SD method and space syntax were integrated.It makes the factors affecting the spatial form of historic blocks more perfect on the basis of paying attention to the feelings of residents in the blocks.In this way,the analysis results of SD method and space syntax on the factors influencing the spatial form of historical blocks complement each other.Part four: Verifying the problem.The kano model is used to analyze the residents’ feelings on the block infrastructure,public service facilities and the block environment.Meanwhile,the SD method is used to analyze the current situation of Yanshou Street historic block with the same questionnaire factor,and the quantitative research is carried out to analyze the residents’ desire for the block and the existing problems of the block.Taking Yanshou Street historic Block in Beijing as the starting point of the research,space syntactic software was used to establish the axis,line segment and horizon model of Yanshou Street historic block,determine the macro,mesoscopic and micro research principles,analyze the current situation of Yanshou Street historic block,and finally summarize the problems.According to the problems of Yanshou Street historical district based on SD method and space syntax analysis,the corresponding principles,strategies and modes of spatial renovation of historic district are proposed.
