Research On The Design Of Mobile Toilet For Alpine Skiing Events

With the continuous promotion of the concept of sustainability,more and more sports events use temporary facilities to replace the construction of permanent facilities.Temporary facilities provide functional assistance through the event,recycle,store for reuse after the event,save resources,and play an increasingly important role in the progress of sports events.During the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics,portable toilets,a type of temporary facility,were used extensively for the first time in Winter Olympic-level alpine skiing events.However,the poor experience in actual use revealed multiple design problems.Based on the application problems of mobile toilet in alpine skiing events in China and the increasing demand for mobile toilet in alpine skiing events in the future,this paper defines the purpose and significance of the research and proposes the research framework of this paper after summarizing the research at home and abroad.Then,the theory and development trend of mobile toilet in alpine skiing events are studied,the influence of alpine skiing events on the design of mobile toilet is analyzed,and the planning,construction and equipment design elements of mobile toilet in alpine skiing events are summarized,and its future development trend is discussed.Then the field research of mobile toilet for alpine skiing events in Yanqing competition area of Beijing Winter Olympic Games is carried out.The present situation of mobile toilet for alpine skiing events is analyzed based on design elements,and the existing problems in humanized design and sustainable development are summarized.Then,from the perspective of humanized design and sustainable development,the optimization strategy of toilet planning design,architectural design and equipment design is proposed.Finally,combining the case and optimization strategy in the Winter Olympics,the design practice of mobile toilet in alpine skiing events is carried out.The conditions of alpine skiing events are extreme and the organization is difficult.It is hoped that through the study of this paper,planning and design strategies for portable toilets applied in this background can be proposed from the perspective of architecture,so as to provide theoretical basis for the comfort and sustainable construction of toilets in extreme environments,and provide reference for the design of similar portable toilets in the future.In the summary of its design strategy,it also calls for the in-depth design of the special mobile toilet and the establishment of the supply and demand relationship platform,so as to better serve the production practice of the society in the future.
