Putting the quality of construction in the first place is not only the unshirkable responsibility of the construction unit and each quality responsible body,but also the centralized embodiment of the government authorities and supervision agencies committed to maintaining the safety of people’s lives and properties.In the new era,using information technology to optimize the engineering quality supervision mode and improve the engineering quality supervision capacity and supervision efficiency is an important link to promote the high-quality development of the construction industry.With the popularity of Bitcoin,blockchain as its technical support has also started to enter the vision of governments and academia.The research and application results of blockchain in engineering supervision,construction quality management,and supply chain management of building materials are also becoming more and more abundant.However,the existing research has not yet appeared for the blockchain application research in the field of government-led engineering quality supervision.This paper aims to use blockchain technology to realize the informationization of engineering quality supervision,improve the effectiveness of engineering quality supervision,and better ensure the quality of engineering.This paper focuses on the research of informationization of engineering quality supervision based on blockchain.Firstly,combining the actual situation of China’s construction industry and a large amount of academic literature related to engineering quality supervision,it analyzes the common quality problems of China’s construction projects and the causes behind them,explores the government’s engineering quality supervision function and engineering quality supervision mode,and summarizes the shortcomings of the existing engineering quality supervision mode.The basic concept,key technology and operation mechanism of blockchain are introduced,and on this basis,the feasibility of blockchain-based engineering quality supervision scheme and its advantages over the existing mode are analyzed by combining the characteristics of blockchain.Secondly,based on the demand analysis of each participating subject of engineering quality supervision,expected function and identity authority division,the framework and function realization logic of the blockchain system are designed,four major functional modules of the blockchain system are planned,the main business of engineering quality supervision is integrated into the blockchain system,and the preliminary design of the blockchain-based engineering quality supervision scheme is completed.Again,a suitable blockchain type was selected for the engineering quality supervision system and the technical architecture,consensus framework and physical architecture of the system were designed for the actual situation of engineering quality supervision work.The identity management mechanism,data storage and access mechanism,consensus mechanism and construction quality evaluation mechanism that support the operation of engineering quality supervision blockchain are designed and elaborated.Finally,the blockchain-based engineering quality supervision information system is designed at the application software level by using the prototyping tool Axure RP and demonstrates the main interface,interaction logic and main functions of the system with specific cases to visually show the application mode of blockchain technology in engineering quality supervision.Considering that the application of blockchain in the construction industry has just started,this paper puts forward several suggestions on promoting the application of blockchain-based engineering quality supervision system from both government and enterprise levels.
