Research On Shanghai’s Jobs-housing Space From The Perspective Of Rail Transit Commuting

As an important commuting method for urban residents,rail transit is of great significance to the shaping of jobs-housing space.Therefore,this paper attempts to utilize rail transit card-swiping data to analyze the layout of jobs-housing and the relationship between jobs-housing in Shanghai,as well as the main factors affecting the commuting OD in the layout of jobs-housing.Firstly,an association rule method based on travel patterns is constructed to identify commuters and their places of residence and employment from rail transit card-swiping data.Then,on this basis,the layout of residence,employment and commuting OD are described,and the relationship between jobs-housing is analyzed.Finally,the Light GBM machine learning method is used to explore the influencing factors of commuting OD flow.The study revealed that:(1)Residence are mainly located outside the Inner Ring Road and show a beaded shape;employment are mainly located inside the Inner Ring Road and show a clustered form;commuting OD mainly connects the inside and outside of the Inner Ring Road and exhibits a radial pattern.(2)The separation of employment and residence at rail transit stations is obvious,among which the separation of employment and residence at the place of residence is significantly different in space,and the separation of employment and residence at the place of employment is less different as a whole.(3)Commuting time,the difference between the distance from the residential and employment locations to the city center,the number of enterprises at the employment,and the number of bus stations at the residence have a greater impact on commuting OD flow,and the above influencing factors show a complex nonlinear relationship with the commuting OD flow.The research results of this paper have some reference for how to investigate the relationship between job-housing space and rail transit commuting from the perspective of rail transit,and the quantitative analysis of the main influencing factors of rail transit commuting OD flow.
