| Due to the ever-growing development of China’s market economy,the competition among enterprises has intensified greatly.Under such a backdrop,the attainment of strategic objectives in a quicker and more efficient manner,alongside the improvement of organizational and individual performance,has become a top priority for enterprises of all kinds.To tackle such challenges,performance management stands out as a crucial tool in the arsenal.Although the company has a certain competitive ability in the industry it is in,as business expands and the company continues to grow,the absence of a performance management system has posed significant challenges to the company’s development.To enhance the organization’s efficiency and ensure its sustainable growth,it is essential to establish a comprehensive performance management system aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.In this paper,we analyze and study the performance management of Xin Kai Company as the subject of research.In the process of preliminary research,this paper learns that the current performance management of Xin Kai Company has many problems such as inadequate system,lack of goal-oriented and incentive effect,and is not conducive to the sustainable development of the company.After an in-depth analysis of the causes of the problems,we learned that the lack of management thinking,the confusion of concepts,the influence of corporate culture and the characteristics of technology-based enterprises are the main causes of these problems.In the stage of performance planning,this paper chose to design and establish a set of performance management system based on Key Performance Indicators(KPI)for Xin Kai according to the current situation of the company.First,according to the design principles and ideas,this paper uses the balanced scorecard theory to decompose the corporate strategic objectives into four areas of critical success factors.Then,based on the key success factors,the key performance indicators and weights of each level are determined.Finally,the relevant elements of the performance contract are discussed.In the performance process management phase,this paper is divided into two aspects.In the performance coaching and execution phase,the relevant points,communication methods and contents are identified;in the performance information collection and analysis phase,the relevant subjects,the main contents of collection and analysis,and the collection methods are identified.In the stage of performance assessment and evaluation,this paper determines the scope,frequency and method of assessment,and clarifies the rating level and appeal mechanism,and discusses the main direction of application of results.In the stage of performance feedback and communication,this paper clarifies the purpose,requirements and contents of feedback and communication.Finally,this paper discusses the main points of the implementation of the performance management system and the implementation guarantee.Based on the analysis and elaboration of the above aspects,this paper comes to the final conclusion that it is necessary,scientific and feasible to establish a KPI-based performance management system in Xin Kai Company,and it needs corresponding support and guarantee from within the company.In this paper,Under the logical framework of developing performance plans,managing performance processes,conducting performance assessments and evaluations,and providing performance feedback and communication,we emphasize the cyclic mechanism of performance management,and seek to improve the overall performance of Xin Kai Company in an objective,feasible and scientific way to provide strong support for achieving the overall organizational goals. |
