The construction of high-speed rail network has profoundly affected the changes of urban pattern, population layout and economic map,and promoted the modernization process of China. It facilitates the comprehensive development of land-use and the agglomeration of labor and capital, which dramatically effects the land-use efficiency. Therefore, the study of the impact of high-speed rail network construction on urban land-use efficiency is of great significance for formulating regional development policies and the planning of high-speed rail construction. This paper takes 239 prefecture-level cities with high-speed trains passing through China in 2020 as the research object, constructs high-speed rail network based on the spatial perspective of "flow",and uses complex network analysis method to measure the connectivity, transfer degree and accessibility of high-speed rail.Furthermore,an ultra-efficient SBM-Undesirable model was constructed to measure the land-use efficiency of each city, and a multi-scale geographically weighted regression(MGWR)model was used to explore the effects of high-speed rail network on urban land-use efficiency. The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)The land-use efficiency in eastern China was higher than the national average, while that in central and western China was lower. The land use efficiency is spatially concentrated, with high-high agglomeration mainly in coastal areas and low-low agglomeration mainly in central areas.Cities with redundant input factors have different forms of relaxation in capital, labor and land factors, which together result in the low efficiency of urban land use.(2)High-speed rail network presents a bifurcated situation of east, middle and west, and the degree centrality, intermediate centrality and proximity centrality of high-speed rail network basically show a decreasing trend from east to west. The eastern region of China has formed a relatively mature and perfect high-speed railway network, showing a more homogeneous development. However, the connection and communication of the high-speed rail network in the central and western regions lags behind that in the eastern region, and further construction is needed.(3)The impact of high-speed rail network on land use efficiency is affected by urban location, urban size and urban economic development level, showing that the impact on land use efficiency is not equal. The construction of high-speed rail has a significant effect on the improvement of land use efficiency in the eastern urban agglomeration.Improving land use efficiency in central China by counteracting the siphon effect caused by agglomeration economy in eastern China; But it intensifies the factor resource loss and regional development gap in the western region.(4)There are differences in the effects of high-speed rail network construction on the economic, social and environmental benefits of land use.The social and environmental benefits in the central region are negative, but the economic benefits are positive. The social benefit of the Yangtze River Delta is greater than the economic benefit and environmental benefit,in which the economic and social benefit is positive, while the environmental benefit is negative. It has the strongest positive effect on social benefits in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The social benefit of the Pearl River Delta region is not significant; The economic benefit, social benefit and environmental benefit in western China are negatively affected to different degrees. |
