With the rapid development of urbanization,traditional villages are facing recession crises such as sharp decline in quantity and decline in landscape quality.Under the background of rural construction and strengthening the protection of traditional villages in the new era,it is particularly necessary and urgent to re excavate the history and culture of traditional villages and quantitatively study the visual landscape from the perspective of humanistic scale.The area around Taihu Lake is an area where human beings have lived for a long time.The superior natural environment and geographical conditions have created distinctive traditional villages.This paper focuses on the waterfront space of traditional villages around Taihu Lake.Through the two dimensions of top-down spatial perspective and bottom-up humanistic perspective,this paper analyzes and studies the current types and characteristics of waterfront space of traditional villages around Taihu Lake,and expands the research perspective,Eye tracking technology is used to quantitatively analyze the visual perception data of the public.It mainly adopts the research methods of field investigation,questionnaire and eye movement experiment.It is divided into three parts:Part Ⅰ: Analyze the types and characteristics of waterfront space of traditional villages around Taihu Lake.Select different types of traditional villages around Taihu Lake for field investigation,and sort out the waterfront spatial location,area,function,elements and landscape characteristics.Starting from the two dimensions of spatial dimension and perception dimension,the four quadrant theory is introduced to classify the Traditional Village waterfront space into four space types: public / resident,public / through,private /resident and private / through.The characteristics of each type of waterfront space are summarized.Part Ⅱ: Construct the waterfront space research system of traditional villages around Taihu Lake based on visual perception analysis.This paper makes an in-depth analysis and systematic combing of the existing theoretical achievements in the academic circles,introduces the visual perception evaluation theory as the support,and focuses on the correlation between "Traditional Village waterfront space" and "public perception" from the two aspects of the principle of visual attraction and the application of visual perception research in the landscape field,involving three fields: physical environment,physiological perception and psychological cognition.Part Ⅲ: Research on visual perception,select a typical case of traditional villages around Taihu Lake,Zhoutie town for in-depth investigation and exploration.Firstly,the survey of waterfront space and regional culture are obtained by issuing questionnaires on the spot.Secondly,enter the laboratory,use the eye tracking method to obtain the quantitative data of the public’s visual perception of Zhoutie waterfront space,explore the law of visual perception and the focus of public attention,and optimize the space of the corresponding waterfront space elements.Through the above research and experiments,quantify the differences in the subjective evaluation and eye movement behavior of the public when observing the waterfront space of different types of traditional villages,combine the methods of qualitative research and quantitative research,and establish a set of relatively complete and unique research methods of Traditional Village waterfront space,so as to provide new research ideas for the application of more new data and new technologies in rural landscape. |
