With the increasing land constraints in urban planning and the slow development of public spaces, shared public spaces have gradually become the main social carrier for the fourth most disadvantaged group in society-the ’ants’,a group of university graduates-thanks to national policies.Although "ants" shared flats have emerged rapidly in recent years, they have not been developed significantly due to the high construction costs and low experience of shared spaces.Through literature analysis, field research and other relevant research methods, this paper aims to explore how to establish a shared space for "ants" with a good sense of belonging and identity, taking Norberg-Schulz and Merleau-Ponty’s perceptual phenomenology as the background under the perspective of architectural phenomenology theory. This paper uses architectural phenomenology theory, combined with relevant research methods,to analyse Schulz’s place theory and Merleau-Ponty’s perceptual phenomenology and the concept of "ants" shared space model. Finally,it provides a theoretical basis and a path of inquiry for the design of shared spaces through the "spirit of place" and "perceptual experience",and proposes design creation strategies in relation to relevant pain points. Therefore, the design of shared spaces from the perspective of architectural phenomenology aims to break the "empty nest" situation of the "ants" group by taking the needs of the "ants"group as the guide, based on the emotional perceptual experience and the sense of belonging in space, and following the characteristics of the composite layout of shared spaces. The aim is to break the "empty nest" situation of the "ants".At the same time, the relevance and value of architectural phenomenology to the design of shared spaces is explored, and the design principles of shared spaces for the "ants" are explored,so that the "spirit of place" and"perceptual experience" can be used to achieve a better understanding of shared spaces."In this way,the spirit of place and perceptual experience can be used to guide the design strategy of the shared space model. The specific strategy is realized from the following three aspects:"based on the perceptual dimension, focusing on the shaping of basic sensory, perceptual experience and comprehensive perceptual experience";"based on the place dimension, constructing the composite functional layout of the shared space and revitalizing the spirit of place";"based on the group dimension, using the group dimension to build the shared space with the spirit of place";"Based on the group dimension,we explore the sense of belonging and living required by the group with a human focus",and create a good spatial environment atmosphere. In conclusion, under the guidance of architectural phenomenology, the consideration of the essential needs of the group is integrated into the practice of the shared space model, and the spirit of place and perceptual experience are used in the design of the shared space model to stimulate the initiative and enthusiasm of group interaction, providing a new perspective for the development and research of the shared space model design for the "ants" group. |
