In recent years,driven by policies such as beautiful village construction and new-type urbanization proposed at the national level,rural revitalization has become an important strategic support to promote rural development.Under the ideological and value orientation of relevant strategic policies,in the field of urban and rural planning,various practical development needs are increasingly concerned,including urban-rural integration development,rural spatial reconstruction and transformation,and multi-scale governance of rural spatial system.However,the traditional planning study of rural areas are still limited on the solution of the rural problem.On the one hand,the traditional planning strategy for early stage in the process of developing the rural growth key problems such as the internal space of alienation and there is no good.On the other hand,the traditional rural planning research often continue copying the method of urban planning theory,which caused the shortcomings such as insufficient theoretical guidance,backward methods and technologies,and difficult implementation and control of rural spatial development.However,the technological innovation in the digital era has brought new opportunities for the study of rural settlement.The gradual maturity of largescale data acquisition and interpretation technology as well as digital quantitative spatial analysis method has laid a foundation for the digital study of rural settlement.Therefore,in view of the existing research gaps in the regional integrity of rural settlement system,this study intends to explore the quantitative method of rural system pedigree based on full-process digital technology.Furthermore,the empirical research of south China and southwest China is used as the foundation for the expansion of application of the digital pedigree genanration method of rural settlement system.The results of system pedigree classification can provide practical reference for spatial pattern optimization of rural spatial planning.Based on the internal mechanism analysis of system pedigree,theoretical guidance for village transformation and reconstruction can be put forward.In here,through third-order module,including the space structure digital recognition of rural settlement system,spatial characteristics digital measure of the rural settlements system,pedigree type digital generation of rural settlement system,the whole flow of digital pedigreegeneration of rural settlement system can be implemented.By a case study of the south and southwest China,a total of 45 system pedigree types were identified.Further,the internal mechanism of different feature dimensions of pedigree types was studied based on the case of total samples,certain geographical and cultural areas,and certain geomorphic features,then the differences of the internal relations between the multidimensional features and the key influencing factors behind them were explored.The core conclusions of this research can provide effective practical enlightenment for the future planning of rural settlement system and spatial optimization of rural area.This paper is composed of six chapters,the specific content of each chapter is as follows:Chapter One is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background,purpose and significance,and sorts out the technical framework and research ideas of this research.Chapter Two is the theoretical construction.Through combing the theoretical review of digital generation of rural settlement system,this chapter summarizes and puts forward the theoretical framework of this research.The theoretical review part covers the definition of the basic concept and connotation of rural settlement system pedigree,changes in the development of related theories,(such as the development of rural settlement geography,regional spatial structure theory,typology and pedigree),as well as research and exploration evolution,(including construction practice,theoretical exploration,technological innovation,pedigree construction).The theoretical framework construction part analyzes the theoretical connotation of the pedigree of rural settlement system in this study from the aspects of research connotation,research scale,system identification prototype,index measurement dimension and so on.Chapter Three is the methodology.Based on the construction of the theoretical framework,the relevant technologies and methods in the three-order modules of digital recognition of system spatial structure,digital measurement of system spatial features and digital generation of system pedigree types are described in detail.Among them,the digital identification module of system spatial structure is based on the three-element identification prototype of "Settlement node--Hinterland area--Dominant connection",which is realized by four steps.Space features digital measurement module is the digital indicators measure framework based on the internal and external location features rural settlement system of under the category of the four research dimensions,which includes rating scale,network stucture,function facilities,traffic condition.Ultimately a total of 17 important indexes are selected to finish the characteristics measure of certain case study.The digital generation module of pedigree type of the system is completed by two steps: feature dimension condensation and hierarchical sorting based on principal component analysis and pedigree value segment classification based on natural discontinuity method.Chapter Fourt is the empirical results.This chapter is the case study of the south and southwest China,including the sample of Guangzhou panyu district of Guangdong province,Guilin yangshuo county in Guangxi,and in the southwest,Chongqing Yongchuan district,Chengdu shuangliu district in Sichuan province,based on third-order spectrum digital building module of rural settlement system.Finally,a system of 192 theoretical types was generated based on four levels of pedigree characteristic dimensions of "Location Convenience--Primacy Centrality--Spatial Coordination--Network Connectivity ",of which45 types appeared in 67 selected sample.Then,this chapter also carries on the hierarchical dimension type interpretation and the typical type synthesis interpretationChapter Five is the discussion.This chapter is a study on the internal mechanism of the pedigree types of rural settlement system.Firstly,the internal relationship between different levels are analyzed,and the formation mechanism of the pedigrees in the south and southwest China is explored.Furthermore,this paper studies the internal mechanism of the south China and southwest regions respectively,summarizes the similarities and differences of their genealogical characteristics and formation mechanism,and finally discovers the significant differences of the genealogical characteristics and formation mechanism in different geomorphic environments.Chapter Six is the conclusion and prospect.Based on the research ideas and results of this paper,four innovations and five core conclusions of this study are summarized.Based on this,relevant practical enlightenment of rural planning is further proposed.Finally,the limitations of this research are reflected,which provides a reference for future study.
