| The accessibility advantage provided by the construction of transportation infrastructure promotes the expansion of urban space,and to a certain extent constitutes the structural skeleton of urban space,and the use of the surrounding space.Viaduct,as a widely used form of urban rapid transport,generates a large amount of land surplus around,causing estrangement among living communities,and at the same time faces new opportunities of low-effective land empowerment in the context of stock renewal.However,the current status of the general understanding of the elevated more stay in the complex traffic corridors or mega-hub of the superficial.In order to solve this problem,the space around the elevated road needs to be researched from the multi-disciplinary perspective.Taking the space around the elevated roads as the research object,this paper puts forward the view of infrastructural urbanism,explains the multi-state of the elevated road combined with the urban environment and puts forward optimization strategy.Firstly,the space around the elevated roads is classified and evaluated by both space shape and quality classification.After disassembling the components and analyzing the combination between up and down traffic,based on the relationship between the site and the urban environment,six typical site types are found-across the whole site,in the middle of the expressway,under the approach bridge,gap land,ring land,and cluster-characteristics of each are analyzed from the three dimensions of traffic,spatial characteristics and urban environment.Then quality classification evaluation of these six types is carried out,the first two have less room for improvement,overall use of the latter four is poor and has more room for improvement.Secondly,a large number of space resources are wasted,and the space around the elevated roads has a negative impact on natural resources,current living communities,and future urban construction.Meanwhile,this paper identifies the space value from three aspects: space use,connection with surroundings and place identification,combing the informal use,policy and management methods,actions taken by intermediate platform,as well as space utilization after transformation.On the basis,the principles of reusing are summed up.Thirdly,the paper further discusses the integrated utilization strategies of the four types.Fourthly,the main city of Nanjing is chosen as the research area,six spatial types and distribution are investigated and analyzed,and the spatial morphological features are compared and the overall utilization is evaluated.This paper reconstructs the cognition of the space around the elevated roads from the perspective of infrastructural urbanization,and then takes Nanjing as an example to deepen the characteristics of the six typical morphological types and the problems and potentials arising from the specific scenes,and puts forward optimization strategy of integrated utilization. |
