Solar hot water(SHW)systems are widely used to save energy and reduce CO2 emissions.Occupant’s domestic hot water(DHW)usage behavior is a significant influence factor of energy consumption of SHW system,meanwhile,the operation of the SHW system also affects the DHW behavior of users.Furthermore,there is a mismatch between the supply and demand of SHW system.It is a worth study that how to propose the optimization methods based on this two-way interaction to make the supply-demand side more match.In this paper,based on the occupant behavior,the optimal design and energy-saving operation method of SHW system,as well as the strategy of supply and demand side are investigated.Based on the questionnaire and literature investigation,1688 questionnaires and measured data of hot water consumption from 48 householders was collected.Then based on the the analysis of DHW behavior,the information-driven stochastic DHW usage model,solar hot water system model,and the solar radiation occlusion modules were established.The models were combined into"simulation analysis model of solar hot water system based on domestic hot water usage behavior",and the model was validated by measured data.Finally,by using the simulation model,the optimal design and control strategies for SHW systems to match user behaviors were explored.Meanwhile,the influence of occupant behavior adjustment,based on information of SHW system,on energy efficiency of SHW system were studied.This study further investigated the supply and demand quantitative characterization method,and introduced 5 kinds of supply side adjustment strategis and 2 kinds of demand side strategies in different situation.The results showed that the optimization methods and supply-demand matching strategies proposed in this paper can effectively improve the solar energy utilization rate of SHW system.For different types of SHW systems,the energy saving effect of the optimization strategies preform differently.The SHW system is the most important technology of renewable energy utilization in residential buildings.The research results of this paper enrich the user behavior model in buildings,and help to optimize the equipment selection and control strategy in SHW system,guide users to achieve behavioral energy saving,which is of great significance to promote the utilization of renewable energy in residential buildings.
