Safety Stock Management Optimization For Company A

With the vigorous development of the economy,the competition among enterprises is also gradually becoming more intense and complicated.To reduce inventory costs and ensure production efficiency,and meet customer needs,there is an urgent need to optimize inventory management.Therefore,this paper takes Company A as the object to study the optimization of safety inventory management.The topic has important practical significance and application value.Paper first from the definition of inventory management and safety stock management,multi-level security inventory management strategies and ordering strategy research of the existing related research at home and abroad were reviewed,and the company A safe inventory management present situation analysis,to identify existing problems;Based on the analysis of A company’s safety inventory management objectives and ideas,first of all,by improving the finished product demand forecast,plan BOM semi-finished products and raw material forecast method,improve the accuracy of demand forecast;Secondly,double ABC classification is introduced to optimize inventory classification.Thirdly,the order timeliness and economy are improved by improving the safety stock calculation model and optimizing the order strategy of balanced Kanban and material demand plan.Finally,through the collaborative optimization of demand prediction,material classification and ordering strategy,the safety inventory of semifinished products and raw materials of COMPANY A is determined.On this basis,from the optimization of organizational structure,the strengthening of employee consciousness and the establishment of the corresponding assessment mechanism,analyzes the organization,culture and system guarantee system of the safety inventory management optimization process of A company.Finally,by comparing the error of demand prediction,inventory level and market response level,verify the feasibility and rationality of the optimization process of A company’s safety inventory management.The research conclusions of this paper can not only provide a reasonable and complete work plan for company A to implement safety stock management,but also provide an important reference for relevant companies to improve their safety stock management level and relatively high meaning and value on inventory reduction and customer satisfaction increment.
