Our highway construction enterprises are still in an extensive management state,the construction deployment and working procedures of the greater randomness,construction production organization is loose,rough planning of engineering materials,a large waste of the site,project delay,cost increase,quality decline,safety production accidents more phenomenon,greatly affect the benefits of the enterprise.At present,the external environment facing the construction enterprises is becoming more and more complex.If the construction enterprises want to achieve rapid development and improve corporate performance at the same time,they must continue to strengthen the internal and external management of the enterprise,improve the overall quality and professional technical level of the staff,improve the overall efficiency of the enterprise operation and project profit.Lean construction originates from lean production,which is a successful reference of economic production principle in the field of construction.Lean construction theory is applied in the field of engineering project management,which is regarded as an important way to improve the efficiency of production management and solve the current problems.This construction management mode can effectively help the construction unit to reduce costs,improve the quality of the project,improve the actual income,and play a huge role in the process of construction period control and safety management.First of all,through a detailed description of the management predicament that S Company faces in the project management,such as bottoming out of economic benefits,chaotic management and owners’ dissatisfaction,and a profound analysis of the current situation of S Company’s project management,this paper points out that S Company has some problems in the project management,such as low quality of management personnel and imperfect management system.It is believed that the reason for such problems is that the traditional and extensive management mode adopted by S Company has been unable to keep up with the pace of development of The Times.If the company wants to survive and develop,it must carry out a reform for engineering project management.The core idea of lean management is to focus on customers and create greater value with the least resource input.It not only helps to improve the quality of project managers,reduce costs,but also improves the level of engineering project management.It is the best way for S Company to improve the performance of engineering projects.Secondly,it analyzes the path of the lean construction project management mode of S Company,and concludes that various factors affecting project management include government call,policy support,industry promotion,science and technology help,improvement of management efficiency,improvement of personnel quality,minimization of waste,maximization of value,and improvement of enterprise performance.The process elements of lean management of engineering projects are summarized,including lean construction policy support,lean construction improvement category,lean construction goal setting,project planning,factor analysis,etc.Finally,the performance improvement path of S Company’s engineering project based on lean construction is summarized into four stages,including activation stage,strategy formulation stage,strategy implementation stage and effect verification stage.It is of great significance to improve project production management,eliminate waste and improve production efficiency.Finally,the specific safeguard measures proposed by S Company in the activation stage,strategy formulation stage and strategy implementation stage of lean construction build a solid defense line for the smooth implementation of lean construction of S Company’s engineering projects.Starting from project management and from the perspective of construction enterprises,this study combines project management with lean construction theory to build a theoretical model of project performance improvement path of S Company based on lean construction.In addition,combining the management effect of lean construction and the problems existing in the implementation of lean construction,continuous improvement countermeasures are proposed.The next research direction is pointed out.
