Nowadays,domestic foreign contracting engineering construction groups are developing to high quality and high standard closely following the "One Belt and One Road",which provides many opportunities for many well-known construction and construction groups in China to enter the international engineering contracting industry,and will have better development in the future.In order to meet the needs of the international market,major construction groups have transformed from the previous scale and speed type to the quality and economic efficiency type.However,the current domestic construction groups are also facing a number of challenges.Compared with some European and American countries with strong economy,the concept of efficiency management is not novel enough,and the performance management is obsolete.International market situation is gradually anacreontic,the smoke of war diffused between each big enterprise.In order to solve the problems of poor management,delayed schedule and soaring cost of the original international engineering projects,the original pure labor-intensive resources have been completely transformed into technology-based resources,and a performance appraisal mechanism suitable for international projects has been established.The core competitiveness of domestic construction groups in the international market is to have a reasonable performance appraisal mechanism and improve the quality and professional skills of construction management personnel.With the help of relevant theories and historical background,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the current status of international projects and the situation of international performance management.Then,taking the overseas project of A Construction Group--Karachi project in Pakistan as the research object,using field investigation and other methods,this paper studies the performance appraisal system of Karachi project.This paper collects and sorts out the relevant materials and data,elaborates the deficiencies and loopholes in the existing performance assessment system research,and explores the reasons.On top of this,combined with the background of The Times and the situation and characteristics of the project in Karachi,Pakistan,suggestions for rectification countermeasures are given,and targeted solutions are suggested.Based on the research of the article,this article reference and draw lessons from the many scholars in the study of the performance appraisal of the international construction project content and achievements,and under the support of relevant theories,using A variety of ways and tools,through the communication with the project department staff,learn A construction group overseas projects related situation,performance management research and analysis of project.It is expected to be of reference value and guiding significance for similar enterprises and transnational organizations in the same field of research.
