Research On Evaluation And Influencing Factors Of High-quality Development Of Construction Industry In China

Along with our economy from high growth to high quality development,construction industry as a pillar industry of the national economy,its importance is highlighted day by day,so as to make higher requirements for it.The traditional extensive development model can no longer meet the requirements of The Times.Therefore,we must accelerate the transformation of the economic development model,promote the high-quality growth of the economy and society,and promote the sustainable development of the industry.Therefore,for our construction industry quality development evaluation and influence factors study will have the important significance,can provide effective reference for our construction industry development.Based on economic development theory,sustainable development theory and new development concept,this paper deeply defines the connotation of high-quality development in the construction industry,and then establishes an evaluation index system of high-quality development in the construction industry.The evaluation index system consists of five first-level indicators,namely innovation,coordination,green,opening and sharing,and 21 second-level indicators.The principal component analysis method was used to measure the development level of 31 provinces and cities during2011-2020.Then,the factors affecting the high-quality development of the construction industry are sorted out and summarized,and the fs QCA method is applied to explore the influence mechanism of different factor combinations on the development level.Based on the results,this paper puts forward some concrete suggestions to improve the quality of our construction industry.The results show that:(1)From the perspective of time,the high-quality development level of construction industry in all provinces and cities has been improved to a certain extent,and the number of provinces and cities with weak highquality development has decreased significantly in recent years.From the perspective of space,there is a gradient difference in the high quality development level of the construction industry among provinces and cities.The development level of the eastern provinces is higher,and the development level of the central and western provinces is weaker.This gap has a tendency to widen gradually,and the development level of the provinces and cities in the eastern and western regions is also different.(2)Labor productivity,total power of machinery,revenue of related industries,profit and tax rate of output value,and per capita GDP of the region cannot constitute the necessary conditions for high-quality development of the construction industry alone.According to the analysis results in 2020,there are three configuration paths for the high-quality development of the construction industry at a high level: productivity-related industryGDP collaborative leading type,mechanical power-related industry-GDP balanced type,and mechanical power-related industry-driven type.In the configuration path of highquality development and high level of construction industry over the years,the total power of machinery and related industry revenue as the core conditions appear more times.The high quality development of the construction industry over the years,the non-high level configuration path and the high level configuration path is an asymmetric relationship.
