| As a common and abundant sound resource in campus environment, bird song is easy to arouse people’s positive psychology and other characteristics, which plays a key role in improving people’s happiness index and mood pleasure,as well as reducing noise pollution. In this paper, the campus of Central South University of Forestry and Technology was selected as the research area to collect and identify birdsong sound sources.Acoustic index measurement method and regional acoustic walk were combined to collect soundscape data from 20 sample points in the study area.Analyze the temporal and spatial characteristics of sound source abundance and richness, acoustic index, sound source dominance, sound source harmony and soundscape pleasure of birdsong soundscape, visualize soundscape distribution, and explore the related factors that influence the abundance and richness of bird song sound source and soundscape pleasure. The purpose is to provide more theoretical support and practical reference for making more targeted birdsong landscape construction in the future. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)There are 87 kinds of bird sound sources in the campus, with the most frequency and richness in spring and winter. There are differences in sound sources of different birds. The abundance of campus birdsong source presents a distribution pattern of high and low areas in the central region, while the richness of birdsong source is relatively average in the east, central and west, and low in the north and south.(2)Among the acoustic indicators of birdsong on campus,L10 has the highest sound level, followed by LAeq,and L90 has the lowest sound level. In the change of time period, birdsong level is at a higher value from 7:00-9:00 in the morning and 17:00-19:00 in the afternoon, while it is at a lower value from 12:00-14:00 at noon.In terms of seasonal variation, birdsong levels were highest in spring and lowest in winter. The overall birdsong level showed a spatial distribution trend of high in the east and low in the west.(3)In terms of the dominance, harmony and pleasure of bird song sources, spring is the highest.Spatially, the soundscape of the east garden of the campus is relatively high, showing a dense distribution in the north and east and sparse distribution in the south. The West Garden is dense in the north and scattered in the west and south. The high value areas of birdsong soundscape pleasure are mainly distributed in the living area of the east garden and the teaching and scientific research area of the West Garden, while the low value areas are mainly distributed in the sports area near the southwest entrance and exit.(4)The abundance and richness of birdsong sources were positively affected by the proportion of green space, the concentration of campus green space, the concentration of square and other facilities, the density of plant canopy and vertical structure. However, the maximum building patch index and the condensation degree of building landscape have negative effects on the sound source abundance.(5)Birdsong soundscape pleasantness is affected by many factors.Among the individual factors, age is an important factor. With the increase of age, people will have a higher degree of pleasure to the soundscape source of birdsong.Gender and educational background had no significant effect on soundscape pleasure. There are significant differences in soundscape pleasantness in different seasons. In addition, soundscape harmony and pleasantness have a positive relationship, that is,high harmony of sound source will make people feel happy. The higher the condensation index of sports facilities, the lower the soundscape pleasure.(6)Based on the research results, strategies are proposed to improve campus sound source environment and reduce noise interference, construct birds and plants, adjust campus green amount, create seasonal changes, and integrate scientific and technological means to optimize campus soundscape.Through the renovation and optimization of campus soundscape zoning, the pleasure and quality of campus soundscape can be improved to help create a more livable campus sound environment. |
