Research On The Protection And Renewal Strategy Of Zhangjiakou Fort Historic And Cultural District

With the continuous acceleration of urbanization in China,historical and cultural cities are receiving increasing attention.Regarding the protection and renewal of their important components,historical and cultural blocks,corresponding protection and renewal policies have been introduced,and significant progress has been made in related theoretical research and practical work.However,overall,there are still many difficulties and problems in the process of protecting and updating historical and cultural blocks.In order to actively respond to the relevant policies of the country regarding the protection and renewal of historical and cultural blocks,identify and analyze the existing problems in historical and cultural blocks,and propose solutions,the thesis uses the Zhangjiakou Fort Block in Hebei Province as an example for investigation and research,which has positive significance from both theoretical and practical perspectives.Zhangjiakou Fort Historical and Cultural District,to a certain extent,represents the development of historical and cultural blocks in small and medium-sized cities in northern China.Among them,Zhangjiakou Fort was built due to the military factor and developed as a commercial city,which is a highly representative urban development context.Through research on the Zhangjiakou Fort Block,the thesis have identified the current difficulties in protecting historical and cultural blocks,and proposed relevant renewal and protection strategies from the perspectives of overall style,block layout,courtyard texture,and crowd integration.The research on the protection and renewal of historical and cultural blocks is guided by the overall urban planning,based on the overall level of the city,including the material environment level,the economic,cultural,and social development level of the city,to achieve reuse positioning,avoid homogenization,and seek suitable models for urban renewal and development.The protection and improvement of historical and cultural blocks are integrated into urban renewal,improving urban taste,and highlighting urban cultural heritage,create a cultural landscape with strong regional characteristics.The thesis adopts methods such as system analysis,multidisciplinary research,spatial syntax,and factor analysis to analyze and reconstruct the space of the block.Through the construction of the spatial pattern of Zhangjiakou Fort Block and the investigation of different groups of people,this thesis analyzes the historical and cultural heritage within the block and the practical needs of the population,and proposes a comprehensive update strategy for Zhangjiakou Fort.The thesis proposes constructive solutions to practical problems such as more complex problems and diverse demands in the process of protection and updating.Propose protection and improvement plans for the overall style,street and alley layout,architectural protection,and micro perspective of Zhangjiakou Fort.Propose specific strategies for the protection and improvement of Zhangjiakou Fort Historical and Cultural District,and draw planning and design analysis diagrams and key node renderings.The thesis sorts out the research development and theory of the renewal and protection of historical and cultural blocks both domestically and internationally,and then takes the improvement and enhancement of block functions as the starting point to study the direction and ideas for the renewal of historical and cultural blocks.Explored the protection path of historical blocks,explored new directions for the renewal and improvement of Zhangjiakou Fort Block,and also provided reference ideas for the renewal of other blocks.
