Study On The Adaptability Of The Built Environment Of Old Industrial Residential Areas In Lanzhou Under The Guidance Of Health

With the requirements of high-quality development in the new era,facing the increasing aging of the society and the senior population,how to actively deal with the problems brought by aging has become a social hotspot and the focus of people’s attention.One of the main concerns is the health of aging,including physical,psychological,social characteristics of health and outdoor activity characteristics of health four levels.The outdoor environment has a direct impact on the behavior and activities of the elderly,as it is the place where the elderly live and conduct their daily activities.The main purpose of this paper is to promote the health of the elderly.In the initial research,the PLPS research method,field interviews and questionnaires were used to obtain the content of what should be improved in the residential area.In addition,the evaluation index system of the built environment ageability of old industrial settlements in Lanzhou City was constructed under the health-oriented approach,and the weight of the evaluation factors of the built environment ageability of old industrial settlements was calculated by the entropy value method to derive the weight of the evaluation factors of the built environment ageability of old industrial settlements.The final result is the ageing suitability class for the evaluation of the built environment.Based on the priority level,we will improve the ageability of the built environment of the old industrial settlements in Lanzhou City,and establish a more humanized and ageable built environment for the old industrial settlements that can guide and improve health behaviors.This study is mainly based on the theories of habitat and environment,environmental behavior,living circle,neighborhood unit and TOD.Firstly,the research subjects are selected to obtain the current problems of built environment of old industrial settlements in Lanzhou through PLPS research method.Secondly,for the special group of elderly people and their special physiological,psychological,social characteristics,outdoor activities and health needs,we summarize the spatial influences on the suitability of the built environment for the elderly outdoors in the residential area and conclude that the built environment space in the residential area consists of four types of spaces: natural space,leisure and interaction space,road traffic space and recreation and fitness space.Again,based on the domestic and foreign research,the current situation research and the analysis of the spatial influence elements of the built environment of the elderly and the relevant standards and norms,the seven primary index layers of natural environment,road and walking environment,green environment,supporting facilities,settlement management,interaction activities and settlement harmony and 39 secondary index layers of the elderly suitability evaluation index system are constructed and the weights are calculated by scientific methods.The old industrial settlements in Lanzhou City within the study area were selected for empirical application evaluation.Finally,based on the evaluation index system and the results of the evaluation,we propose specific models for the built environment of old industrial settlements to meet the health needs of the elderly: natural environment model,road and walking model,green landscape and interaction activities model,supporting facilities model,and settlement management and harmony model,and these five models should be combined with endogenous renewal methods to promote public These five modes should be combined with endogenous regeneration methods to drive public participation,and under the premise of full research,the mode suitable for the transformation site should be adopted.The government,unit,street and community forces jointly promote the built environment age-appropriate reconstruction,build a home care system with the will of the elderly as the core,the community and street’s elderly service network as the backbone,the unit enterprise as the support,and the national government’s elderly policy as the guarantee,improve the living environment,public service facilities and public activity space in the three major spaces of production,living and ecology,enhance Lanzhou City quality and promote the city to be more livable,workable and pleasant.This paper establishes a health-oriented evaluation system for the ageing suitability of the built environment of old industrial settlements in Lanzhou City,so that it can be used as an evaluation standard to evaluate the ageing suitability of the built environment of settlements,and can be used as a reference standard for the construction and renewal of the built environment of settlements in the future,making the built environment of settlements bring health benefits to the elderly.
