| The rapid changes in the world have changed our way of life.Today, cars have reshaped our landscapes and lifestyles and have become the dominant factor in shaping cities. The guiding principle of “car-based” planning has caused various problems such as disorderly spread of cities, traffic congestion, air pollution,non-conflict,social resource allocation, and deterioration of urban health. In recent years, travel has been recognized as a fundamental factor in achieving sustainable urban development. At the same time, the use of walking, cycling and public transport to replace private cars has received increasing attention.People realize that health problems are not limited to the health care field, and are more affected by the surrounding physical environment and social environment, and these environmental impact factors are the root causes of public health. This paper first discusses the relationship between urban planning and public health, built environment and non-motorized traffic, proposes the necessity of non-motorized traffic improvement, and summarizes the relevant elements and characteristics of the built environment in non-motorized traffic, from urban scales and streets. The two aspects of the scale are summarized, and the mechanism of the built environment affecting public health is discussed, and the strategic framework for the improvement of the non-motorized traffic environment is constructed. Finally, the design strategy of further optimizing the urban Non-motorized traffic environment is formulated by taking the Hefei Government Affairs Cultural New District as an example. To verify the validity and operability of the urban non-motorized traffic improvement strategy constructed in the previous section. The paper takes the non-motorized traffic environment as the research object, takes the human health needs as the starting point, and builds the non-motorized traffic environment improvement strategy based on the healthy city concept based on the theory of healthy city and slow system theory and practical research hotspots. With a view to the current level of the non-motorized traffic environment,it will guide the development of China’s slow-moving system. |
