| The Yellow River has made Lanzhou, and at the same time contains the historical memory of the Golden City, mountains, rivers, bridges, roads and cities tell the story of Lanzhou every day. This paper takes the aesthetic area of the Yellow River in Lanzhou as the research object, extracts and analyzes the paradigms influencing the planning and design of the Yellow River in Lanzhou in the horizontal historical stage and vertical planning system, and summarizes the evolutionary trajectory of the key paradigms. From the perspective of the paradigm, the current development of the aesthetically pleasing area along the Yellow River in Lanzhou City is combined to propose an updated and optimized strategy in order to provide some theoretical and practical references for the future planning of Lanzhou riverfront space. The first research line is the historical restoration of planning,in which a "macro-meso-micro" research hierarchy is constructed according to the components of the aesthetic area along the Yellow River, and the development profiles of the aesthetic area under different historical stages are sorted out.The second main line is the traceability of planning texts, which is a study of the planning design of the aesthetic area along the Yellow River in different types of planning texts, extracting paradigmatic patterns and summarizing their evolutionary trajectories in the context of historical clarity. The core of the paper is to extract the paradigms and summarize the development patterns of the design of the aesthetic area of the Yellow River in Lanzhou City in different periods. This part divides the research phases into late Qing Dynasty,Republican Dynasty and modern period in terms of time dimension.Due to the lack of planning documents in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, the extraction and analysis of planning paradigms are based on the planning history and spatial pattern.Through the study of the planning history, the analysis of urban spatial axis and skyline in the two periods,it is concluded that the planning design of the beautiful area along the Yellow River in Lanzhou City in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China was influenced by the national macro policy, the natural pattern of "mountain, water and city" in Lanzhou, the planning ideas and the key figures of the times. The study of the planning design paradigm of the beautiful area along the Yellow River in Lanzhou in modern times is based on different planning texts in the vertical planning system, including the two versions of Lanzhou urban construction plan after the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the successive versions of Lanzhou city master plan, the Lanzhou central city control detailed plan and the Lanzhou city facade renovation and upgrading plan.Through the analysis of the planning and design contents, the paradigms are national macro policies, planning ideas, the natural pattern of "mountain, water and city" in Lanzhou, planning regulations system and planning types, and their evolution trajectories are summarized based on the above analysis: The evolution of national macro policies from "unity" to "diversity";the evolution of planning ideas from "passive borrowing" to "active exploration";the evolution of Lanzhou’s "mountain, water and city" natural pattern;the evolution of Lanzhou’s "mountain, water and " The pattern of "mountain, water and city" in Lanzhou has evolved from "dependence" to "reinforcement";the system of planning regulations has undergone the development of standardization, legalization and unification,The final part of the article is based on the extracted paradigm and proposes an optimization strategy for the aesthetically pleasing area along the Yellow River: through "sightline corridors" and pre-control of new buildings to strengthen the aesthetics of the area. The paper concludes by proposing strategies for optimizing the aesthetic area along the Yellow River based on the extracted paradigm: strengthening the "mountain and river city" context of Lanzhou through "view corridors" and pre-control of new buildings;enhancing the composite functions of the riverfront space to shape spatial vitality;enriching the cultural elements of the riverfront space to enhance its attractiveness. |
