Under the new development stage,the transportation network and Urban cluster development become an important support to drive China’s high-quality economic growth.Transportation infrastructure is one of the important factors affecting urban development,and urban vitality is a concrete reflection of the level of urban development.Exploring the spatiotemporal relationship between transportation networks and urban vitality is important for formulating a reasonable regional transportation development strategy,improving the level of urban vitality,and promoting high-quality urban development.Based on this,this paper focuses on the node cities of the Lan Zhou-Xi Ning urban agglomeration from the perspective of macrocity cluster and the background of collaborative high-quality development of urban agglomeration,selects the node cities within the urban agglomeration,takes the interactive influence relationship between their transportation networks and urban vitality as the research object,constructs a coupled coordination system based on transportation and node city vitality,and analyzes the interaction mechanism between transportation and node city vitality of the Lan Zhou-Xi Ning urban agglomeration,to provide The study aims to provide forward-looking and practical strategies for the high-quality and coordinated development of the economy and society in the West Lanzhou urban agglomeration.The study takes 39 counties(districts)of Lan Zhou-Xi Ning urban agglomeration as the research object,selects four-time nodes of 2012,2015,2018,and 2021,based on the data of land transportation road network,population density,and night lighting,etc.,and conducts a comprehensive evaluation of land transportation network and node city vitality of Lan ZhouXi Ning urban agglomeration with the help of spatial syntax model,the comprehensive evaluation model of city vitality level and coupled coordinated development evaluation model.On the basis of these data,the evaluation model of coupled coordinated development of traffic network and urban vitality was constructed,the spatiotemporal coupling characteristics of the land traffic network and urban vitality of Lan Zhou-Xi Ning urban agglomeration were comprehensively analyzed,and the influencing factors were investigated with the help of geographically weighted regression model.Based on the above study,it is found that:(1)the spatial pattern of land transportation network levels in the west Lanzhou urban agglomeration varies significantly,and the high-value areas of the land transportation network in the west Lanzhou urban agglomeration are mainly concentrated in the urban areas of the two core cities of Lanzhou and Xining,and the higher values are mainly distributed along the east of the Lanzhou-Xining traffic along the Lanzhou-Xining traffic,and the Lanzhou-Xining traffic along the Lanzhou-Xining line forms traffic "On the one hand,it refers to the highest value of traffic network density and accessibility in the urban agglomeration,on the other hand,it also"blocks" the development of traffic in the urban agglomeration to the west.(2)The urban vitality of the western Lanzhou urban agglomeration is generally not high,which is mainly reflected in the fact that the number of low-vitality cities is relatively large,while the proportion of high-vitality cities is small.The development of urban vitality is uneven among the districts and counties in the city cluster,and the phenomenon of polarization is serious.Spatially,it shows a significant "core-edge" pattern,i.e.the functional vitality indexes and socio-economic vitality indexes of the core districts and counties in Lanzhou and Xining are somewhat different from those of other districts and counties in the city cluster.(3)The promotion of urban vitality by the inland road transportation network in the westLanzhou urban agglomeration is not obvious,and the overall coupling and coordination between the land transportation network and urban vitality are still in a dysfunctional stage.As of 2021,only some counties and districts in the core city of Lan Zhou-Xi Ning urban agglomeration have entered the coordination stage,while other counties and districts are still in the dysfunctional stage,and the development of the transportation network lags behind the level of urban vitality,and the role of the land transportation network in promoting urban vitality has not yet been revealed.(4)Along with the development of time,the results of coupling and coordination between land transportation networks and urban vitality show the trend of core-edge development in space.At the early stage of the study(2012),the coordinated development cities of Lan ZhouXi Ning urban agglomeration are some counties and districts of the core cities,and the surrounding cities in the urban agglomeration are all in the stage of dysfunction and most of them are extremely dysfunctional,showing a strong polarization phenomenon.At the later stage of the study(2021),the polarization phenomenon is weakening,and the cities in the coordination stage are increasing and spreading to the periphery.(5)The density and accessibility of transportation infrastructure have a greater impact on the spatial differentiation of urban vitality,while the traffic-carrying strength of transportation networks at the scale of urban clusters has a smaller effect on the role of urban vitality.Socioeconomic vitality has a greater effect on the spatial differentiation of transportation networks,while the effect of functional facility vitality has a smaller effect.(6)The four factors that affect the level of coordination between the transportation network and urban vitality in the west of Lanzhou urban agglomeration are,in descending order of influence: the proportion of secondary and tertiary industries > public budget expenditure >public service capacity > economic development level. |
