In recent years, with the gradual manifestation of China’s manufacturing advantage and enhance the comprehensive national competitive advantage, subcontract manufacturing orders obtained by gradually accelerating growth, an increase of nearly 20%. By 2020, China subcontract production delivery is expected to reach $ 4.5 billion. And herein subcontract programs involving aviation manufacturing enterprises in the fierce conditions of the market economy and market competition control means, meet the huge bottleneck on rate increasing, especially in horizontal stabilizer final assembly station, in where exciting the technical problem such as the 100% rework rate of the painting, the management problem such as mixing tooling and long distance of people walking and so on, all these must be solved quickly to meet the pace of the whole production line.The thesis analyzes of horizontal stabilizer final assembly station, to investigate and identify the capacity bottleneck on the assembly line, based on the principle of moving line from lean manufacturing production lines which be established by Big commercial aviation company such as Boeing company, and by using a series of lean manufacturing tools such as time observation, value stream mapping and so on, this capacity bottleneck affect production beat. Through process and production field improvement based on the analysis of people movement, product flow, to perform the production optimization, and improve the reasonable tool and tooling location of the whole working area. Based on the entire production line analysis, to establish standard work manual and standard inspection manual, on this basis, the assembly process and layout redesign, to develop a “one piece flow” at horizontal stabilizer final assembly station in order to improve labor efficiency. Finally, using Lean assessment tool to demonstrate the effectiveness of the entire process after reconstruction..After practical application effect shows that redesigned final assembly station can satisfy the production rhythm, with no increase in staff and working hours, and production rate reached 28 shipsets per month from previous stable and limited rate 24 ship sets per month, improving production capacity of more than16.7%.
