On the basis of studying the theories at home and abroad,focusing on the analysis framework of the international competitiveness of the OFDI,focusing on the theory of the motivation and empirical test,analyzing the influence of the OFDI on the international competitiveness of the Chinese home appliance industry,and focusing on the problems existing in the current home appliance industry,and policy suggestions.Around this theme,The study analysis is as follows:Firstly,it expounds the research background and research significance of this study,In the context of the "going global" strategy and the manufacturing power strategy,As a major component of the manufacturing industry and the national economy,the home appliance industry needs to further enhance its international competitiveness,However,there are many factors affecting the international competitiveness of China’s home appliance industry,Such as the environment,market house,resource,technology,manage,government,Related industries,etc.,environment,The government is external to the factor enterprises can not control,so enterprises,only by expanding the market,the distribution of resources,Improve technology and management to improve,mey customer channels for China’s home appliance industry,most of the key technologies are in the hands of home-commerce brands in Europe,America and Japan,It takes a long time to rely solely on internal learning and original accumulation,through foreign direct investment,resources are available at the enterprise level,market house,Efficiency and strategic assets to have more competitive advantage.Therefore,foreign direct investment has become an important choice for Chinese home appliance brands to enhance their international competitiveness.Therefore,whether the foreign direct investment has the international impact on the competitiveness of the home appliance industry,what is the impact?The questions are the purpose of this paper and the main problem to solve.This paper defines the concept of foreign direct investment and industrial competitiveness,carefully summarizes the related theory of foreign direct investment and the influence of foreign direct investment on the industry development,the influence of foreign direct investment on international competitiveness,and the influence of the international competitiveness of literature research,provide theoretical basis for the analysis of this paper.Then the influence of foreign direct investment on the international competitiveness mechanism and influence factors analysis,respectively from the enterprise level,the industry level and investment and the influence factors of the analysis,for the empirical research,and then through the comprehensive weighted evaluation method of China home appliance industry in 2013-2021 international competitiveness level of measure,and build a model of foreign direct investment on the international competitiveness of the empirical research.Through linear regression and vector autoregression,the changing trend of international competitiveness level of home appliance industry and the potential relationship between international competitiveness level and investment of home appliance industry are analyzed.The results of this paper show that Chinese home appliance enterprises can expand the market and increase overseas demand for domestic enterprises,and this investment behavior can reduce costs,eliminate trade barriers,and to a certain extent,Therefore,using OFDI can enhance the international competitiveness,The annual increase of OFDI mainly comes from its own economic level of development,namely economic strength,The growth of the international competitiveness level of the home appliance industry is also mainly due to the continuous enhancement of the competitiveness,Partly due to the increase in outward direct investment,It shows that the growth of OFDI will have a relatively obvious role in promoting the international competitiveness level of the home appliance industry.Finally,according to the conclusion of the empirical research,the guiding investment of domestic home appliance enterprises from the national and enterprise level,the government should improve the relevant domestic policies,strengthen the foreign direct investment of domestic companies;and increase the policy support and financial support for the home appliance industry.From the perspective of domestic home appliance enterprises,we must strengthen risk awareness and management and reasonable investment;Meanwhile,pay attention to international market demand to improve the independent innovation ability of Chinese home appliance industry.
