| The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality(referred to as "dual carbon")is a broad and profound economic and social systemic change.Under the background of the "dual carbon" strategy,green transformation is a key area of sustainable development,thermal power enterprises need to effectively comply with the trend of energy transformation in production and supply,practice the requirements of national energy transformation,and as energy market players,they also need to have their own reasonable economic benefits.The progress of energy transformation of thermal power enterprises and the research on the green transformation performance of thermal power enterprises are of great and urgent practical significance.In this paper,the literature related to corporate green transformation is reviewed and evaluated,and the theory of corporate social responsibility,Porter hypothesis and sustainable development theory are used as the theoretical basis of this paper.Secondly,this paper summarizes and analyzes the green transformation of the thermal power industry and the drivers and measures of the green transformation of Datang Power Generation.Finally,this paper analyzes the performance of Datang Power Generation from both financial and environmental perspectives.In terms of financial performance,the financial performance of Datang Power Generation was analyzed from four aspects: profit,debt repayment,operation and development by using the traditional financial index analysis,and the financial performance was comprehensively evaluated by reference to the "Standard Values for Performance Evaluation of Central Enterprises" issued by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.In terms of environmental performance,with reference to the "Governance Guidelines for Listed Companies" issued by the China Securities Regulatory Commission,based on the characteristics of the thermal power industry,a comprehensive evaluation system for environmental performance was established from three dimensions:environmental finance,environmental management and environmental quality,and the weight of each evaluation index was determined by the entropy value method,and the comprehensive index of environmental performance was analyzed.It is found that the green transformation of Datang Power is mainly affected by the macro,meso and micro levels.Secondly,the green transformation path of Datang Power Generation is mainly carried out through two ways: vigorously developing clean energy and actively implementing energy conservation and emission reduction of thermal power units.Finally,the transformation has brought certain economic benefits to the enterprise on the whole,and the overall score of financial performance from 2016 to 2020 has increased,thanks to the increase in major indicators such as return on net assets and current ratio,which correspondingly improves the profitability and solvency of Datang Power Generation,but the role in operating capacity and development ability is not obvious.In addition,Datang Power has improved its environmental financial score and environmental management score by increasing clean energy capital expenditure and reducing power supply coal consumption,thereby improving the company’s environmental performance,and the overall environmental performance score from 2017 to 2021 has shown an upward trend.The research in this paper enriches the perspective and research methods of the impact of green transformation of thermal power enterprises on enterprise performance... |
