The proposal of carbon neutrality provides new ideas for China to comprehensively achieve low-carbon transformation.One of the important paths to achieve carbon neutrality goals is the low-carbon energy structure.The power industry is an important industry to promote China’s economic and social development.Taking the lead in achieving low-carbon transformation is the basis for low-carbon transformation in other industries,and is also an important guarantee for China’s sustainable development and Low-carbon economy.As an important component of the power industry,thermal power generation enterprises should actively comply with the historical process and development laws of energy transformation,explore strategies to achieve dual carbon goals,actively carry out low-carbon transformation,and take the path of sustainable development.Firstly,based on the summary of relevant practices and evaluation studies on low-carbon transformation at home and abroad,combined with the current situation of low-carbon transformation in China’s thermal power industry,a systematic performance evaluation index system for low-carbon transformation of thermal power generation enterprises is established based on the DPSIR model,and the weight is determined using the entropy weight method.Then,the actual data of the eight sample enterprises collected from 2017 to 2021 were standardized,and the low-carbon transformation performance of the sample enterprises was comprehensively evaluated based on the TOPSIS method.It was analyzed from the vertical and horizontal dimensions,and the performance efficiency rankings of the sample enterprises were obtained to find out the advantages and disadvantages of the sample enterprises.Secondly,by increasing the annual data of the sample enterprises to form more accurate and reliable Panel data,the fixed effect model and social network analysis model are established from the perspective of the overall and annual combination,and the factors affecting the low-carbon transformation performance of thermal power enterprises are studied.The results indicate that the factors affecting the low-carbon transformation performance of thermal power generation enterprises include scale effect power generation,proportion of coal consumption and clean energy related to environmental level,proportion of technical personnel related to employee level,average salary and patent application,as well as environmental investment return and asset debt ratio.Finally,to achieve low-carbon transformation,thermal power generation enterprises can recruit excellent talents,increase the proportion of technical personnel,and encourage employees to engage in patent inventions and applications.At the same time,they can appropriately increase environmental protection investment and clean energy investment,thereby increasing the scale of the enterprise,achieving economies of scale,reducing costs and coal consumption,and other ways to achieve low-carbon transformation of thermal power generation enterprises.In this process,a targeted performance evaluation model can be built based on external ESG evaluation combined with internal DPSIR-TOPSIS,providing direction for thermal power generation enterprises to improve low-carbon transformation performance and reform and adjustment,guiding enterprises to achieve their own low-carbon and sustainable development while making due contributions to achieving national carbon neutrality goals.
