Research On Plant Landscape Design Of Jiangnan Water Town Based On Settlement Texture

As a unique settlement space in Jiangnan area,the ancient town of Jiangnan water town shows the unique water culture in Jiangnan area and is an important cultural heritage.As an important part of settlement space,plants play an important role in protecting ecological environment,balancing environmental color,enriching landscape form and transmitting cultural interest.However,at present,the protective development of the ancient towns in Jiangnan is mostly from the perspective of spatial texture maintenance and architectural weaving.How to play the role of plant landscape in the protective development of traditional settlements has become a very important issue.This article starts with the analysis of the plant landscape of the ancient town of Jiangnan water town and combines practical cases to explore the design method of the plant landscape of the ancient town of Jiangnan water town and the settlement texture space.First of all,the related concepts and theories are briefly described.It is clear that the material unit of the settlement texture of the ancient towns in the Jiangnan water town is mainly composed of point units based on bridges and squares,linear units based on water systems and streets,and block units based on architectural communities.The relationship between plant landscape and settlement texture is mainly reflected in three aspects:shaping space,beautifying environment and heightening artistic conception.Secondly,based on the historical remains of the ancient towns in Jiangnan,six towns in Jiangnan(Wuzhen,Xitang,Nanxun,Zhouzhuang,Tongli,Luzhi)with good remains were selected as typical cases.Through the analysis of real photos,the present situation of plant landscape in the bridges and squares that constitute the ’point’ hub space,the streets and roadways that constitute the ’ linear’ skeleton space,and the architectural courtyards that constitute the ’block’ community space are analyzed and studied,and the relationship between plants and various texture spaces is summarized.On this basis,this paper discusses the ideas,principles and contents of the overall planning of plant landscape,and puts forward the plant landscape design mode of bridge space,square space,street space,roadway space and courtyard space.Finally,the ancient town of Jiaoxi in Changzhou City is taken as the practical research object.From the two aspects of spatial characteristics and plant status,the different texture spaces of Jiaoxi ancient town are analyzed in detail.On this basis,the detailed plant landscape design is carried out for different texture spaces,and the planning and design methods and design patterns of plant landscape in Jiangnan water town are practiced.The final research results of this paper clarify the differences between the plant landscape of the ancient town of Jiangnan water town and the urban plant landscape,clarify the important role of the plant landscape of the ancient town of Jiangnan water town in displaying the style of the ancient town,analyze the relationship between the plant landscape of the ancient town of Jiangnan water town and different spatial textures,and summarize the design method of the plant landscape of the ancient town of Jiangnan water town.
