Industrial buildings, also known as factory buildings, refer to buildings used for industrial production and services in manufacturing.Industrial buildings are ubiquitous in China, the world’s largest industrial nation.Due to the large internal space, they are mainly used to store large production equipment with high thermal productivity, resulting in high internal air conditioning loads. It is the air conditioning system that performs the air conditioning in industrial buildings. In recent years, the government has promoted low carbon and energy conservation and promoted the concept of green buildings. Therefore,it is necessary to improve the air conditioning system in industrial buildings to improve the internal working environment of production workshops, reduce the energy consumption of air conditioning and improve the energy utilization rate. This paper takes the workshop of Suzhou environmental protection ceramics company, which produces three-way catalysts,as the research object, improves the air distribution in the workshop.Based on the Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)as a theory,Ansys Fluent was used for simulation and comparison to achieve uniform distribution of airflow organization and improve energy utilization in the workshop. The specific research content of this article is as follows:(1)Firstly,the construction and energy consumption characteristics of industrial buildings were introduced and the internal air conditioning system was described as an all-air conditioning system. In order to evaluate the flow field for different air supply modes, the evaluation of the distribution of the flow was described.Air age, inhomogeneity factor, energy utilization coefficient,PMV,and PPD were determined as indicators to evaluate the airflow distribution.(2)Secondly,the simulation calculations were performed using the Ansys Fluent based on the workshop 3D model. The suitability of the design of the air conditioning system was analyzed. The following optimization scheme was proposed for air conditioning systems. It was recommended to change the air supply pattern to lower backflow, regulate the number of air outlets and optimize the layout of the outlets. In addition, four optimization schemes were designed. From the simulations and evaluation of the optimized solutions,we conclude that the second optimized solution can achieve a more uniform flow profile,Smaller air age and better energy conservation.(3)Finally,In the air conditioning system, changes in air supply parameters will change the distribution of airflow organization, thereby affecting the comfort of indoor personnel. This paper selected the ventilation method of the previous optimization scheme 2,analyzed and compared the airflow organization in the workshop by changing the air supply speed, air supply angle, air supply temperature and other conditions,so as to obtain the optimal working conditions under the optimization scheme 2.When the air supply speed is 1.5m/s,the air supply angle is 90°,and the air supply temperature is 20℃,the human body has the best thermal comfort.
