Research On Landscape Regeneration Of Shipyard Sites In The Context Of Industrial Cultural Inheritance

Industrial ruins witness urban development.As historic sites are not replicable,industrial ruins have always been a focus of urban construction.Currently,protection of industrial ruins is mainly limited to demolishing and reconstruction,thus leading to problems including a waste of resources and cultural loss.Therefore,it has become a significant subject of landscape design to research into reasonable regeneration of industrial ruins.Parks transformed from industrial ruins are an important way for such regeneration,which not only uses the land resources effectively but also promotes sustainable urban development thanks to new vitality brought by recreating site culture.Starting from the perspective of inheritance of industrial culture,the paper gets the design strategy for parks transformed from industrial ruins of shipyards by analyzing theories related to landscape regeneration of industrial ruins.Taking into account the site characteristics,the research regenerates the shipyard into an industrial ruin park integrating the inheritance of industrial culture,leisure and entertainment,and closeness to nature,with the hope to provide a reference for the regeneration of industrial ruins based on practices.
