Chu style lacquerware inherits the romantic and mysterious aspects of Chu culture,with unique and exquisite designs,colorful and dynamic patterns,and full and elegant colors.It is a peak in the history of Chinese lacquerware craftsmanship.For over two thousand years,Chu style lacquerware and techniques have been inherited from generation to generation in the land of Jingchu,but the impact of modernization has inevitably led to its decline.Combining Chu style lacquerware with modern display space design can not only enrich the expression forms of the display space,but also enable the audience to intuitively and effectively experience the cultural connotation and artistic value of Chu style lacquerware through the form of modern display space,thereby promoting the inheritance and development of Chu style lacquerware art.The article first provides a deep cultural review of Chu style lacquerware,analyzing its artistic characteristics and cultural connotations.Secondly,by collecting and organizing relevant concepts of modern display space,analyzing the cases and design elements of modern display design,this provides a theoretical basis for the design of Chu style lacquerware display space.In the design process,the display space of Chu style lacquerware is combined with modern information technology.At the same time,the artistic characteristics of Chu style lacquerware are extracted and summarized based on the display content,and combined with 3D display techniques,it is transformed into spatial design language to enhance the experience of Chu style lacquerware display space and awaken people’s sense of identification and belonging to Chu style lacquerware art.
