Family businesses are the most common type of business in the world.According to a Harvard study,2/3 of businesses worldwide are family-owned.Family businesses provide more than 70% of GDP(gross national product),solve more than half of labor and employment problems,and are one of the most important stabilizing factors in today’s economy.As an integral part of China’s important organizational form,family business is also a key factor in my country’s economic development.Whether family enterprises can carry out intergenerational inheritance smoothly is one of the most important factors for the sustainable development of family enterprises.According to my country’s economic development,family businesses emerged before and after the reform and opening up.Most of the "creative generation" of family businesses are over fifty years old and face the dilemma of advanced age.The issue of international inheritance.According to the research at home and abroad,how the "founders" of family enterprises smoothly inherit the enterprise into the hands of the "heirs" is not plain sailing,and the "founders" cannot predict the possible problems in the real inheritance according to their subjective assumptions.Although the inheritance path and method of a family business cannot be completely predicted by the outside world,we can provide reference for the inheritance of a family business by combining the inheritance cases of a single enterprise.It sorts out the time point of the inheritance,and evaluates the inheritance effect of the family business,analyzes the rationality of the inheritance path of the family business,and puts forward optimization suggestions.This paper takes X family business as the research object.Through careful analysis of the inheritance process of X family business and evaluation of the inheritance performance of X family business,it is found that the smooth handover of the management right of family business requires the joint efforts of "the first generation","the second generation" and other stakeholders.The founder should formulate a detailed inheritance plan,inheritance direction and inheritance path to reduce the resistance of the successor when entering the enterprise,so as to provide convenience for the successor to enter the family business.At the same time,the successor should also start from himself,early enter the grass-roots level of family enterprises to learn,accumulate experience,and get the recognition of employees in the enterprise,so as to establish personal authority,enhance the management position in family enterprises and enhance the decision-making efficiency in the enterprise.As a key party in the inheritance,other stakeholders of the enterprise also need to cooperate with the successor to complete the inheritance process,provide corresponding suggestions to the successor in business decision-making and strategic development,and assist the successor to smoothly transfer the management right,so as to ensure the stable development of the enterprise.This paper hopes to draw relevant conclusions through the analysis of the inheritance performance of a single family enterprise,and provide some suggestions for the inheritance of family enterprises in China. |
