In recent years, the Belt and Road Initiative has brought new opportunities to economic globalization. As a physical connection of the Silk Road Economic Belt, the China-Europe international railway transport corridor plays an important role in the Belt and Road initiative. At the same time, the threat posed by terrorists to the security of cities along the Belt and Road is becoming more and more obvious. The trend of terrorist attacks is shifting from domestic to international, posing severe challenges to the infrastructure construction of the Belt and Road, the safety of personnel involved in the construction. At present, the research on terrorist attacks and the survivability of the China-Europe international railway transport corridor network is in its infancy, while the China-Europe international railway transport corridor network is abstracted into a complex network, and the node susceptibility is determined after statistical analysis of urban terrorist attack data, and this paper establishes the survivability measure of each dimension and adopts different attack strategies to describe the survivability of the network from different perspectives, which is of great significance for cities to reasonably allocate anti-terrorism defense resources and rationally plan railway networks.First of all, this paper clearly defines the China-Europe international railway transport corridor, and selects 267 cities along the line. With the help of the Space L method, the ChinaEurope international railway transportation corridor topology network is established, and the topology characteristics of the complex network are analyzed to study each node city. Then, the data of terrorist attacks in 267 cities from 1970 to 2018 were statistically analyzed, and 9evaluation indicators were selected to obtain the susceptibility of each city node through factor analysis, and the indicators are potential danger, number of deaths, number of death events, number of injuries, total number of occurrences, degree of property damage, attack target, proportion of death events and average number of deaths per time. Finally,on the premise of putting forward the concept of the survivability of the China-Europe international railway transport corridor network, the attack strategies are adopted to attack the network deliberately, including susceptibility of nodes, initial degree, initial betweenness, recalculated degree and recalculated betweenness, then describes the survivability of the network from five measures, namely node reachability, node communication difficulty, network efficiency, network clustering coefficient, maximal connected subgraph, and this paper puts forward reasonable optimization suggestions.(1)The results show that the China-Europe international railway transport corridor network has neither scale-free nor small-world characteristics, and the degree is concentrated in 2 and 3,the number of cores is 2,the aggregation coefficient is 0.0541,the betweenness and centrality value are relatively low,the average path length is 13.24,and the network diameter is 36.(2)Node susceptibility can be explained by loss factor and defense factor.Karachi,Kabul,Quetta,Peshawar,Istanbul,Athens,Colombo,Lahore,Urumqi,Kandahar and other cities have high node susceptibility.(3)In contrast, the China-Europe international railway transport corridor network under the terrorist attack is relatively stable, the node failure under each attack strategy is 10%,and the network survivability decreases significantly,in general, this network is less survivable.(4)On the constraint that the shortest distance between urban node pairs is less than 5,the strategy of adding 20% edge to the node pair with the minimum node degree is the optimal edge adding strategy to improve the network survivability based on the node susceptibility attack, and the strategy of adding 10% edge to the node pair with the minimum node betweenness is the optimal edge adding strategy to improve the network survivability based on the node susceptibility, initial degree and initial betweenness attack.
