Development And Application Of CAD/CAE Integrated System For Frame Packing Box Based On SolidWorks

In recent years,due to the continuous development of e-commerce,more and more people like to shop online,which makes a variety of packaging products appear.The packaging of goods has played an important role in our life.In the transportation and packaging of large products,the metal frame packing box has been favored by designers because of its good bearing capacity,extrusion resistance,corrosion resistance and simple production.Metal frame type packing box belongs to large non-standard design products,with a single product customized type,in order to improve the design efficiency,shorten the product development cycle,reduce the designer’s repetitive work,in order to save product design cost,material cost.Through the research of secondary development technology,the CAD/CAE integrated system of frame packing box based on SolidWorks is developed on Visual Studio platform with VB.NET as the programming language.This paper first analyzes the basic design parameters by discussing the current situation of the frame packing box,and then carries on the parametric design to the frame packing box model.The frame structure model adopts the method of global variables and equations,and the channel steel model adopts the form of SolidWorks series parts design table to control.In this paper,the Simulation module is also developed.The parameterized model can be directly analyzed by finite element method in the system,so that the design and analysis can be integrated,and the model can be analyzed and checked quickly.In addition,the MES system is also developed,which mainly includes system management,production management and inventory management modules,which bring convenience for subsequent production and processing,warehouse management and procurement.
