| Ethiopia has a long history of hosting refugees from neighbor countries and out of the continent since 1931.The case inhabitants the existing refugee that forced to leave their home due to human conflict and drought and political crisis,etc.Now a day’s Ethiopia has faced many challenging about keeping refugees from a safe environment and security the case of the rising number of refugees per year.those refugees also face living with inappropriate shelter and some of who moving from the existing to another new settlement for finding appropriate shelter design.So,it is required to develop a proper shelter design for a solution to the problem.This study aims to design and produce an economic and sustainability transitional shelter prototype through energy efficiency.The designed space is provided for a family of four to six people for a living space,while space is comfortable and safe and it has appropriate natural ventilation.The structural components design system are considered environmental analysis for the order to protect from unwanted environment and efficient utilization materials,Through these developed the new techniques construction process on structural components and materials which help to reduce the construction period and refugee can also able to construct the shelter.The shelter structure can be relocated from temporary settlements to permanent settlements and easily upgrading.On another hand,The design is developed self-sustainable approach which is mange natural energy by itself and based on these approaches thereby designed.Such as,shedding device,solar energy,the rainy catchment tanker and applied different perspective of a solution for heat gain mechanisms like wall insulation materials.These all mechanisms are providing increasing economically and saving energy by using renewable energy from the solar panel which provides for lighting,cooking,etc.Wall insulation is proposed for keeping indoor thermal condition and the rainwater tanker also can reduce transport costs.Furthermore,this paper presents a strong design framework for a transition shelter design its three parametric analyses like Interior parametric,physical or enclosure parametric and environmental parametric analysis.and Finally,The result of the designed are achieved comfortable.safe,healthy and sustainable. |
