In the context of Intelligent Transport and the goals of "peak carbon dioxide emissions" and "carbon neutrality" in the transportation industry, enhancing the attractiveness and sustainable development of public transportation is the core task of public transportation development.Analyzing passengers’ route selection behavior under the influence of various factors during bus travel, and understanding their preferences in route selection, contribute to optimizing bus network planning and operational management strategies, improving service quality, and ultimately enhancing the appeal of public transportation. This paper takes the OD(Origin and Destination)data set of passenger bus travel as the research object, extracts the travel data set under each travel route of passengers, and determines the factors that affect the selection of passenger travel routes according to the analysis of passenger travel characteristics, and finally models and analyzes passenger path selection behavior. The main content includes the following three aspects:(1)Utilizing collected operational data from the intelligent bus system, passengers’ bus travel OD data is inferred and the travel characteristics of each OD data are calculated. This yields the OD dataset of passengers’ surrounding travel.Subsequently, the total travel route dataset, commonly used travel route dataset, and alternative travel route dataset are extracted from the OD dataset.(2)Based on the obtained travel route datasets, the travel characteristics of passengers with multiple bus trips are analyzed from the perspectives of time, space, and environment, comparing their travel features on commonly used routes and alternative routes.Furthermore, preliminary exploration of the factors influencing passengers’ route selection behavior is conducted.(3)Based on the analysis of travel characteristics, variables influencing passengers’ route choices are selected.A support vector regression model is established to quantitatively analyze the effects of multiple influencing factors on passengers’ bus travel behavior, common travel path, and alternative travel path choices. |
