Study On Ornamental Grass Selection And Landscape Application Based On Ecological Adaptability In Xi’an Area

The 19 th CPC National Congress further put forward a series of guiding opinions to promote the construction of ecological civilization.Xi’an government has widely responded to national policies and requirements to develop ecological conservation gardens.Ornamental grass,as a new type of garden plant material with unique height,shape and ornamental,is widely used in various habitat landscape construction,and ornamental grass has a wide range of adaptability to habitats.And it has the characteristics of rich landscape types and short landscape time.However,due to the lack of consideration of the local climate characteristics in the material selection,design and application of ornamental grass in Xi’an,ornamental grass has not been widely used.Therefore,based on the present situation of ornamental grass application and the demand of urban green space landscape development,this study discusses the selection and landscape application methods of ornamental grass with ecological adaptability in Xi’an urban green space habitats.it plays an important role in improving the urban ecological environment and building an economical city in Xi’an.In this study,by analyzing and combing the relevant theoretical basis of ornamental grass,the screening system of ornamental grass was established,and the ornamental grass was screened based on the ecological adaptability of Xi’an.The varieties of ornamental grass were evaluated by grey correlation analysis method.The ornamental grass varieties suitable for all kinds of urban green space habitats are recommended,and the ideas of ornamental grass landscape construction are summarized.This paper expounds the design method and configuration mode suitable for the construction of urban green space landscape.The main contents include the basic theory and basic classification of ornamental grass,the selection of ecological adaptability of ornamental grass,the method of planting design of ornamental grass and the variety selection and allocation model of ornamental grass in different urban green space habitats;the main technical points of the application of ornamental grass and the mode of maintenance in the later stage,that is,management instead of maintenance and reducing manual intervention.Finally,on the basis of neo-naturalistic planting design,theory is combined with practice to test the above theory with design practice.Through the study,the main conclusions are as follows: first,Among the ornamental grasses investigated in Xi’an,through three-step ecological screening and ornamental screening,a total of 34 ornamental grass varieties can be recommended.Second,combined with the climatic characteristics of drought and little rain in Xi’an,the wild plant community is simulated in the urban green space,and the design method of layered planting is used in the form of plant groups.the landscape construction model of ornamental grass in Xi’an area is mainly composed of "structural layer,seasonal theme layer-ground cover layer-dynamic filling layer".The specific design methods are expounded from the aspects of function,community hierarchical structure,planting scale,seasonal phase,color and texture.
