Over the past decade,China’s e-commerce has developed rapidly,and the express industry has also developed rapidly.Since 2014,China’s express business volume has remained the first in the world for eight consecutive years.At present,China’s express business volume is growing rapidly at an annual growth rate of nearly 30%.With the rapid development of transportation,science and technology,people’s living standards have been rapidly improved,and higher requirements are put forward for the timeliness of express transportation.Railway and aviation enterprises respond to market demand and actively expand express business.The air rail intermodal mode combining high-speed rail transportation and air transportation came into being.Facing the practical problems that the volume of express business is increasing year by year and customers have higher and higher requirements for express transportation time limit,how to save the transportation cost of express enterprises as much as possible on the premise that customers maintain high satisfaction with the timeliness of express transportation.Therefore,a reasonably planned express transportation path is an important issue affecting the high-quality development of China’s express industry.This paper takes the route selection of air rail intermodal transport between 30 major cities in China as the research object,mainly including the following contents:(1)Analyze the development status of express industry and the development status of high-speed rail express and air freight at home and abroad,so as to provide a practical and feasible basis for this research.(2)Select the important urban nodes of express transportation through some conditions nationwide,and build an air rail intermodal network;Construct the evaluation index system and calculate the central indexes in the network according to the complex network theory;The TOPSIS method is used to comprehensively evaluate the nodes,and the candidate hub node cities in the air rail intermodal transport network are obtained.(3)In MATLAB,by programming and using the cubic exponential smoothing method,input the express business volume data from 2011 to 2021,and predict the express business volume between cities in 2025;Using principal component analysis and gravity model,the value of express attraction intensity among cities is obtained;Logit model is used to predict the proportion of air rail intermodal transportation in express transportation between cities.(4)Establish the route selection model of express air rail intermodal transportation based on time limit,program in MATLAB,use genetic algorithm,substitute the data obtained from investigation and prediction,and solve the transportation mode and transportation route between hub nodes and urban nodes.According to the solution results,the influence of the number of hub nodes,transportation distance and other factors on the selection of transportation route is analyzed;Analyze the difference in transportation cost whether air rail intermodal transportation is adopted or not.
