As a new transmission device based on permanent magnet drive technology,torquelimiting magnetic coupler can not only realize the light load start of the motor and isolate the vibration of the motor end and the load end,but also limit the maximum torque of the load to achieve the overload protection of the motor.It has a very broad development prospect in various industrial fields.In this paper,2PGCS tooth roller crusher is selected as the load equipment,and a torquelimiting magnetic coupler which can limit the maximum output torque according to different working conditions is designed.The permanent magnet is driven by the gear rack mechanism to adjust the thickness of the air gap and protect the motor overload.The magnetic resistance of each part of the magnetic circuit is calculated by the equivalent magnetic circuit method.According to the functional relationship between the electromagnetic torque formula and the structural parameters of the magnetic coupler,and referring to the structural parameters of the existing products in the market,the structural parameters of the main components are determined,and the overall structure is designed.The gear and rack in the air gap adjustment device are designed,calculated and checked.The ANSYS Maxwell software is used to simulate the electromagnetic field of the moment-limiting magnetic coupler.According to the motion law of the magnetic coupler in the magnetic field,the field cloud diagram in the transient magnetic field is analyzed,and the influence of the structural parameters of the main components on the electromagnetic torque is analyzed.Finally,the moment-limiting conditions of the magnetic coupler are analyzed under coarse,medium and fine crushing conditions.In order to ensure the reliability and stability of the torque-limiting magnetic coupler in the operation process,based on the heat transfer theory,ANSYS Workbench software is used to analyze the influence of slip and air gap on the maximum temperature of the conductor plate and the permanent magnet.The temperature distribution of the magnetic coupler is simulated under three conditions.The results show that the maximum temperature of the permanent magnet is in the safe and reliable temperature range,and it can run safely and reliably.
