| According to the increasing mileage of highway maintenance,highway construction area frequently appears,how to guarantee the safe and efficient operation of vehicles through the highway work zone,which is the core of the traffic organization program design of the highway continuous traffic work zone.By the survey of the traffic flow characteristics in the highway continuous work zone,the traffic flow operation rules of the continuous work zone are summarized in terms of traffic volume,speed and headway distance.The headway distance distribution was based on the measured data analysis,and the results showed that the headway distance distribution obeyed normal distribution,and the modified Gaussian probability density distribution equation was used to fit its functional equation,and the headway distance distribution model was put forward.The vehicle convergence probability in the highway continuous work zone was calculated and analyzed by the headway distance distribution model in the work zone,the acceptable gap theory and probability theory.The 1stopt software is used to establish a model of vehicle merging probability in the continuous work zone,which is based on the traffic volume,the distance between the vehicle and the starting point of the upstream transition zone and the vehicle merging probability,then the parameters in the model are calibrated according to the measured data.The vehicle entry probability model is tested in terms of accuracy and sensitivity.The results show the efficiency of the vehicle convergence probability model in this paper.This paper analyses and researches two aspects of safety facilities and speed control in the continuous work zone.Traffic safety facilities are mainly discussed from the front distance and setting interval of traffic signs,the rules of traffic marking setting and other traffic safety facilities setting;speed control is analysed from the principles of speed limit setting and the selection of speed limit method.Finally,the traffic flow characteristics are analysed by taking the continuous work zone of a highway of Changshen Highway,and the vehicle convergence probability is calculated by the vehicle convergence probability model,then the traffic organization is optimized. |
