Study On Traffic Organization Scheme Of Expressway Rehablitation Enginering

With continuous growth of traffic volume on freeway in our country, a lot of freeways that built up in early years appear that their capacities are insufficient, service levels drop, pavements damage, and those become the reasons of traffic jam and all kinds of road traffic accidents. In order to improve these conditions, some freeways have carried on the rehablitation. If the work zone Traffic Organization is improper, some serious problems such as traffic jam and traffic accidents rise in the rate will come. So, it is meaningful to study traffic organization scheme of expressway works zones.Both domestic and aboard researches are analyzed, and the study issues, emphases of the paper are put forward. Traffic organization, traffic conflict and traffic characteristic of expressway works zones are studied. Apply some theories of technniques traffic engineering, man-machine engineering, behavioral science to analyze the traffic characteristics of freeway works zones. Using traffic conflict theories,the potential danger of vehicle running in the work zone during the period of the vehicle driving near the work zone,passing the work zone and leaving the work zone is analyzed, then the traffic conflict model of rehablitation and extension work zone is established.With in-depth analysis on traffic characteristic ,traffic conflict of works zones, consulting traffic organization scheme of generic road works zones existing, considering travelling particularity of expressway works zones enough, traffic organization scheme of expressway works zones is discussed in detail.
