Research On Innovative Design Of Elderly Driving Aids Based On Gait Analysis Method

Since China entered an aging society,the number of elderly people has increased year by year,resulting in many social issues,such as: the existing market is not well prepared to respond to the aging population,the quality and quantity are not up to standard,and there is a lack of matching product design.China has a large elderly population and an extremely broad market.In recent years,the rise of the silver economy has increased the popularity of aging products,triggering widespread attention in the design industry.It is hoped that reasonable design methods can effectively help the elderly group solve practical difficulties,while also improving the quality of life.This article aims at solving the problem of physical function degradation and difficulty in traveling alone caused by the aging of the elderly population.Through innovative design research on elderly assisted driving based on gait analysis methods,we can help the elderly population solve the problem of travel difficulty.Gait analysis is currently a very effective method for biometric recognition.It monitors the walking status of the legs in real time to obtain walking characteristics,including temporal features such as support and swing,as well as kinematic features such as gait,stride frequency,and stride length.Under normal conditions,walking gait has obvious periodicity and rhythm,so abnormal gait can be particularly messy,such as large changes in stride length,changes in walking speed,and frequency.Combining the above characteristics,it is particularly important to integrate gait analysis methods with the design of elderly driving aids.This research on innovative design of elderly assisted driving based on gait analysis aims to meet the actual functional requirements while also taking into account the expectations and needs of the inner spiritual world of the elderly group,and maximize travel safety.It not only contributes to their physical and mental health,but also reflects their care for the elderly from various dimensions.
