With the globalization of competition,the demand of enterprises for technological innovation is increasing day by day,especially in emerging industries.Mastering technological competitive advantage will master the "password" to crack the door of success."Coopetition" has been proved to have an important impact on the technological innovation of enterprises.By cooperating with competitors,enterprises can stimulate their own innovation potential and absorb external heterogeneous resources.The implementation of coopetition strategy has become an important means for enterprises to achieve technological breakthroughs.Although coopetition has gradually become the normal relationship among enterprises,there is still a lack of systematic empirical analysis on how coopetition affect enterprise technological innovation.At the same time,due to the dynamic and contradictory nature of the coopetition relationship,the specific ability of enterprise management competition and cooperation-coopetition capability plays a particularly key role between coopetition relationship and enterprise technological innovation.Based on this,this paper takes the autonomous vehicles industry as the research object,focuses on the technology coopetiton in the industry,and studies the impact of coopetiton relationship on enterprise innovation performance.Firstly,the paper systematically analyzes the mechanism of coopetition relationship and coopetition capability on enterprise innovation performance by combing relevant literature.The coopetition relationship between enterprises is defined as three components: 1)Competition between partners;2)Cooperation between partners;3)The interaction between competition and cooperation.And with competitive intensity,cooperative intensity and coopetition intensity of these three components on the line of concrete measurement.In terms of coopetition capability,considering the external capability of enterprises,coopetition capability is defined as external network capability and internal coopetition experience.Based on the above analysis,the empirical model is used to verify the impact of coopetition relationship on firm innovation performance,and the moderating effect of coopetition capability is explored.Secondly,the competition and cooperation relationship in emerging industries is complex and changeable.Only theoretical empirical research can not describe the coopetition relationship completely,and it is difficult to reflect the dynamic development of coopetition.Therefore,starting from the overall situation,the international competition situation and the patentee’s coopetition situation,this paper systematically analyzes the current and dynamic evolution of the current coopetition situation in the autonomous vehicle industry.The empirical results show that competition intensity has a significant positive impact on firm innovation performance,while cooperation intensity and coopetition intensity have a significant negative impact on firm innovation performance.Coopetition capability plays an important moderating role in the relationship between coopetition intensity and firm innovation performance.Network capability can promote the positive effect of competition intensity on innovation performance,but also strengthen the negative effect of coopetition intensity on innovation performance.coopetition experience and competitive intensity have a substitution effect,and coopetition experience negatively moderates the negative impact of coopetition intensity on innovation performance.There is no moderating effect of enterprise coopetition capability on the relationship between cooperation intensity and enterprise innovation performance This paper provides an analysis of the cooperation situation of autonomous vehicles.It finds that autonomous vehicle technology is in the stage of rapid development,the number of patent applications is increasing rapidly,and the key technology fields are gradually shifting to the technology field of information,communication and automobile integration.At the national level,the United States is the current technology leader,China’s technology development is very active,but lack of development quality.At the enterprise level,technology companies have gradually replaced automobile manufacturers to become technology leaders.Technological cooperation between enterprises in the United States,Japan,Germany and other countries has become the norm of technological development,while China’s autonomous driving related enterprises generally lack effective technical exchanges and cooperation. |
