After more than forty years of vigorous development,China has become a container manufacturing powerhouse and transportation powerhouse,and is the world’s largest container port throughput country.With the change of the times,due to the lack of means of disposal of the production of used waste containers,as well as the age of containers and various reasons,the number of containers out of use is increasing year by year at a surprising rate,which directly leads to a serious waste of resources and destructive environmental pollution.Due to China’s huge population base and geographic environment and other factors,has been the total amount of carbon emissions and the largest growth in the country,in the long run,China’s energy saving and emission reduction is facing enormous pressure and challenges.And abandoned containers are recycled into container buildings,undoubtedly in line with the global green,low-carbon,environmental protection,sustainable development trend,not only to meet the aesthetic requirements of modern society on the metal,but also for a long time troubled by the proper disposal of abandoned containers to provide new ideas,container buildings are increasingly becoming the field of architecture dynamic and vibrant emerging forms of architecture.But as a new industry and new branch of the field of architecture,container architecture started late,people for the container building research and design mostly focus on the advantages of container architecture,to study the modularity of the container building and functional technology,and more as a temporary emergency building use,resulting in the container building becomes a cloud,superficial,marginalized,no sense of belonging.This is because people in the design of the container building ignore the container building is a new type of building but its essence is also a type of building,and is a special type of building.Therefore,the purpose of this paper is to find a sense of belonging for the container building,to prove that the container building is a special type of building.The concept of global green sustainability is used as the design context to explore the special type of container architecture.Through literature research,theory and practice combination,comparison and generalization method to develop the research of container building space form type design.Firstly,the research status of container architecture and typology at home and abroad is analyzed to find out the correlation between container architecture and typology.Through the interpretation of typology theory and the overview of container architecture,as well as the summary of the advantages and limitations of both,the significance of typology intervention in the design of spatial form type of container architecture is deduced;secondly,from the perspective of meta-language in typology theory,the spatial form vocabulary of container architecture is analyzed,and the basic form vocabulary of container architecture to the combined form vocabulary and then to the spatial form vocabulary is explored in the way of illustration and combined with cases.The language of spatial forms is enriched from the aspects of form,color,material texture and light.Under the guidance of typology,the basic code is extracted from the spatial form language of container architecture,and the topology,proportion and scale,order and rhetoric are converted to form the unique spatial form type of container architecture,and find the sense of belonging for container architecture.Finally,through design practice,the container building type is applied to real design projects,and the feasibility of the container building spatial form type is verified in actual operation.This paper not only expands and extends the typological theory,but also promotes the development of typology,and is a new exploration for the research field of typology and container building spatial form design.It provides new ideas and certain reference value for future research on typology theory and container architecture. |
