A Study On The Choice Behavior Of Airport Arrival Mode Considering Health And Psychological Factors

Travel choice behavior refers to the choice behavior made by pedestrians for travel mode and travel time.Air travel is an important way to travel across cities.In order to improve the transportation efficiency of urban public transportation and improve the traffic conditions around the airport,it is necessary to study the transportation mode that travelers choose to arrive at the airport and the early arrival time.The research on the traveler’s choice behavior rarely considers the physiological and psychological factors,and the research on the traveler’s early arrival time at the airport is insufficient.Based on the physical health and mental attitude of travelers,the random parameter Logit model and latent category Logit model are used to analyze the travel choice behavior of air travelers.The duration model is used to study the way of arriving at the airport and the time of arrival,and to explain the influence of various variables on the choice behavior.First,explain the whole process of traveler’s travel choice,and select the explanatory variables of the survey plan,including personal attribute characteristics,travel mode attribute characteristics and objective environmental characteristics.Second,the questionnaire is designed according to the data requirements.The content of the questionnaire includes the obvious variable survey items,the psychological status survey items and the scenario selection survey items.The psychological status survey items include the perceived risk,emotional reflection,attitude reflection,and perceived convenience of the traveler.Items and items that characterize travelers’ mental fatigue problems,obtain survey data and conduct statistical analysis.Third,the traveler’s body mass index is selected to represent the traveler’s health status,the random parameter Logit model is used to analyze the influence of variables such as body mass index and carrying large luggage on the choice of travel mode,and the marginal utility of random parameters is analyzed,and the marginal utility is adopted.Determine the model sensitivity.Fourth,establish a structural equation model to calibrate latent variables,the relationship between latent variables and index variables,classify travelers according to the calibrated latent variables,and use multinomial Logit models and latent category Logit models respectively to compare and analyze the psychological latent variables.The impact of travel mode choice.Finally,based on the time data of travelers arriving at the airport in advance,the proportional hazards model and the accelerated failure model are used to analyze the factors affecting the advance time,and the fitting parameters of the Weibull distribution accelerated failure model with gamma heterogeneity are analyzed.The results show that the traveler’s physical health index has a significant impact on the choice of travel mode,and the body mass index is positively correlated with traveler’s demand for comfort and convenience of transportation mode.The body mass index is significant at the significance level of 0.01,Travelers with an index greater than 28 were 0.4% more likely to choose a private car.Compared with the multi-logit model,the latent category Logit model has a higher goodness of fit.According to the degree of psychological fatigue,travelers are divided into three categories,accounting for 36%,48%,and 16%,respectively.The gender and age of travelers,income,body mass index,whether to carry large luggage,whether to own a private car,whether to travel alone have a significant impact on the choice of arrival mode.The increase of psychological fatigue reduces the traveler’s sensitivity to travel expenses,and the latent variables of traveler’s perceived risk,perceived convenience,emotional reflection,and attitude reflection have a significant impact on travel preference.Compared with the proportional hazards model,the Weibull accelerated failure time model with gamma heterogeneity has higher sensitivity,and the travel frequency is negatively correlated with the early arrival time.With the accumulation of air travel experience,travelers improve the control of the early arrival time at the airport.The ability of travelers to choose the arrival time is more flexible.Whether a traveler travels alone is negatively correlated with the early arrival time at the airport.Travelers with large luggage will increase their early arrival time.
