In recent years,the development of railway construction has accelerated in China,and the level of equipment has been improved comprehensively.At present,the “four vertical and four horizontal” railway network in China has been entirely completed,and the “eight vertical and eight horizontal” railway network is under construction.The quality of the railway network has been greatly improved.The railway power supply system is an important part to maintain the normal operation of high-speed railway,and power supply failure will seriously affect the running order.The traction substation is the core of the power supply system.The design of main wiring and setting analysis of relay protection become more important.This paper firstly studies the structure,classification and methods of railway power supply system.And the research method and perspective are determined,which provide the support and lay the theoretical basis for the subsequent design.The traction substation is the most critical part of the whole system,so the research and design of the main wiring and setting of relay protection are the core to ensure reliable power supply for the running of the railway.Then,the systematic main wiring is designed and relay protection setting analysis is carried out for a traction substation.According to the design principles and the actual conditions,the load calculation is completed firstly and the capacity of the main transformer and self-used transformer are clarified.Combined with the actual conditions,the main wiring of the traction substation is designed,and the power catenary bus selection and electrical device model of the traction substation are determined.And then the layout scheme of lightning protection and parallel capacitance compensation scheme of the traction substation are determined.The setting calculations are carried out for the main transformer,feeder and capacitance of the traction substation in order to determine the configuration plan of the relay protection device.At last,the design of the main wiring and relay protection are summarized and the forcast is also done.The main wiring design and relay protection of traction substation are studied in this paper.The design ideas and methods are proposed to provide some useful references for the design of traction substation for high-speed railway with the highest standard.
