| The urban farmers market is a key link connecting urban life.It is an urban public service space with various attributes such as workplaces, social places, and trading places for urban residents. It is an important node for helping a healthy city. The farmers market is an important functional space for the community,a community-dependent service facility that solves the basic guarantee of residents’ living, and a field for building a neighborhood network of urban residents and communities, and an endogenous driving force for urban life.In recent years, due to the impact of public health events, such as the early SARS to the current spread of COVID-,new challenges have been raised to the resilience of the public space environment, causing people’s concerns about the health and safety of lifestyle and physical space environment.attach great importance to.Due to its slow adaptability and poor environment, farmers’ markets are constantly being dubbed "dirty and messy" and have become the focus of urban public health concerns. With the opportunity of Changsha City to vigorously promote the construction of livelihood projects such as urban renewal and "vegetable basket project",the author conducts research on the old community farmers market in Changsha City, and explores the space optimization strategy of the old community farmers market from the perspective of health. The full text is based on theoretical research and evidence-based analysis, and finally is verified by practical case design. The first chapter elaborates the research background, theory, significance and method of the thesis, combines the relevant theory and practice, constructs the research framework of this paper, and clarifies the research entry point of taking the old community farmers market in Changsha as the research object and the health perspective. The second chapter conducts basic research on the old communities and farmers’ markets in Changsha, and analyzes the general situation of the development of Changsha farmers’ markets, the characteristics of spatial types, the characteristics of the built environment of the old communities, and the relationship between the farmers’ markets and the old communities.,to draw the main practical problems existing in the old community farmers market. The third chapter is to study the health impact mechanism and health impact factors of the built environment of farmers market.First, according to the summary of the relevant characteristics of healthy spaces in the relevant theories of healthy communities and healthy buildings, combined with the healthy interaction between people and public spaces, and the current status of farmers’ market spaces, determine the impact mechanism of the built environment of farmers’ markets on health. The building evaluation standard evaluates the sample farmers’ market, detects the health level of the farmers’ market, and provides a theoretical basis for the healthy transformation of the farmers’ market.Secondly,by sorting out relevant domestic and foreign healthy building standards and summarizing the factors of health impact, combined with the questionnaire survey to establish the correlation regression analysis between the environmental factors affecting health and the health status of residents, five types of environmental renovation factors that have health impact on the farmers market are obtained. The optimization strategy is proposed in the following paragraphs as the basis for laying the foundation. The fourth chapter includes design principles and design strategies.Combined with the analysis of the health effects and needs of the residents from the five types of environmental elements obtained in the third chapter, the design principles of comfort, safety, vitality, fairness, and culture are established, and the agricultural trade is further analyzed. The main action paths of the five types of built environment elements in the market on the health of the population have established optimization strategies at the physical space level in five aspects:environmental comfort, health and safety, space vitality, humanistic care and cultural perception. The fifth chapter, the design practice part, takes the reconstruction design of the old community farmers market in the core area of Changsha—Xiaoyingzhou farmers market as the core practice research.Through the analysis of the current situation to sort out the problems, guided by the principles and strategies of healthy design, relying on the cultural background, geographical climate and spatial characteristics of the site, construct a renovation design scheme with coexistence of comfort, safety, vitality, fairness and culture,in an attempt to activate the The communal vitality of aging communities and the healthy renewal of the built environment of farmers’ markets provide new ideas.Design research part: Chapter Design practice part takes the reconstruction design of Xiaoyingzhou Farmers Market in Mawang Street Community,Dingwangtai Street,Furong District,Changsha City as the core practice research.Through the analysis of the current situation to sort out the problems, guided by the principles and strategies of healthy design, relying on the cultural background, geographical climate and spatial characteristics of the site, construct a renovation design scheme with coexistence of comfort, safety, vitality, fairness and culture,in an attempt to activate the The communal vitality of aging communities and the healthy renewal of the built environment of farmers’ markets provide new
