Research On The Protection And Design Of Street Space In Traditional Villages Under The Background Of Rural Revitalization

In the context of the rural revitalisation strategy,the protection of traditional villages has become one of the important projects in China’s rural development.How to better protect traditional village streets and alleys,restore their vitality,enhance the living environment of traditional villages and highlight the regional characteristics and culture of traditional villages has become an urgent issue to be solved.Through the research of Changzhuang Village in Tai’an,it was found that the streets and alleys in the village with comfortable proportions,harmonious colours,rich texture and strong atmosphere have gradually lost their original functions and characteristics,coupled with the villagers’ lack of attention to the historical culture and values carried by the traditional streets and alleys and the demolition and construction of buildings,which have destroyed the original layout and appearance of the streets and alleys.In order to improve the quality of the streets and alleys,the conservation and revitalisation of Changzhuang’s street space is explored.The article begins with the spatial structure and architectural layout of Changzhuang’s streets and alleys,and conducts a thorough study and comprehensive analysis of the layout,spatial form and characteristics of Changzhuang’s main streets and alleys,taking into account the regional geographical environment,folklore and humanities.From a macroscopic perspective,we analyse the influencing factors of traditional village space,including the influence of village site selection,geographical environment,humanistic environment and living patterns on the layout and spatial form of the streets and alleys,and from a microscopic perspective,we conduct an in-depth study of street fa?ade materials,construction techniques,the current state of the streets and alleys,colours and other perspectives to uncover the unique historical and cultural values of Changzhuang’s street space,summarise the problems of Changzhuang’s streets and alleys,and focus on the needs of residents’ lives and tourists.Formulate a design approach.The above process of investigation is guided by the policies related to rural revitalisation,the current situation of Changzhuang’s streets and alleys and the pattern and characteristics of Changzhuang’s own historical and cultural development,so as to explore the best way to protect and design traditional streets and alleys,and provide reference for the construction and protection of traditional villages and alleys.
