Research On Cultural Relics And Inheritance Strategies In The Old City Of The Three Gorges Reservoir Area

The Yangtze River civilization has a long history for thousands of years.The long and splendid Yangtze River culture is based on many urban cultures along the Yangtze River.Urban culture promotes the progress and development of the Three Gorges Civilization in the continuation of history.The cities in the reservoir area in the Three Gorges Basin will inevitably have cultural deficiencies due to the relocation of new cities after the construction of the Three Gorges Project,resulting in the construction of new cities in the reservoir area in the post-Three Gorges era.In addition,the cultural memory fault and the lack of root power in the development of urban culture,how to collect and inherit the old city culture is an important part of the current and future urban cultural development in the reservoir area.From the professional perspective of environmental design,this paper firstly studies and analyzes the relevant theoretical achievements and practical cases of the collection and inheritance of urban culture at home and abroad by using the method of field investigation,literature research and case analysis.The content is traced to the source and the current situation of the new city culture is researched and analyzed,and the existing experience and wisdom are drawn to summarize the enlightenment;The strategy research on the collection and inheritance of the cultural content of the old city of Kaizhou provides theoretical support for the design practice research.This paper is divided into six chapters,the specific contents are as follows:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly expounds the research background and problem content,research method,research value and research difficulties of the selected topic.The second chapter mainly discusses the research on the collection and inheritance of urban culture at home and abroad.In the process of urban development and construction in the West,the issue of new city reconstruction is rarely involved.For the research problem of this paper,it is more valuable to learn from the practical case studies of cultural heritage protection and inheritance in Western countries and analyze its strategies.Firstly,through the case studies of cultural heritage protection and revitalization inheritance in Pompeii,Italy and Beamish Folklore Museum in the United Kingdom,it summarizes the experience and strategy of realizing the collection and inheritance of urban cultural memory by activating cultural scenes.Secondly,it analyzes the current situation and research trend of theoretical research on urban cultural relics and inheritance in reservoir area cities,and summarizes that cultural elements play a step-by-step role in the current cultural development of cities in the Three Gorges reservoir area,and the future takes culture as the starting point.The cultural development strategy of the reservoir area will become an important trend.Furthermore,it studies and analyzes two different types of pick-up inheritance practice cases in the reservoir area,Ciqikou and Yunyang Zhangfeimiao,and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the existing cases.Finally,it traces and summarizes the old city culture of Kaizhou,and studies and analyzes the current development status and problems of Kaizhou’s urban culture.The third and fourth chapters mainly focus on the experience and achievements of domestic and foreign urban cultural relics summarized in the previous chapter,the cultural content of the old city of Kaizhou and the current situation of the new city culture,and carry out the ideas of collecting and inheriting the cultural relics of the old city of Kaizhou.Construction—clarifies the cultural relics goal of Kaizhou old city to continue the civilization of the old city and inherit the style of the ancient city,and construct the old street of the old city as the object of relics,Wuyang Island as the location of the inheritance,and the design practice of cultural projects.for the direction to rely on.Based on this,this paper explores the specific theoretical strategies of the "Four Pickup Plans" for the collection and inheritance of Kaizhou ancient city culture-picking up the street space of the ancient city,picking up the cultural form of the ancient city,picking up the ancient city cultural scene,picking up the ancient city culture content,so as to answer the questions of "where did it come from?","where did it go?" and "how to go there?"The fifth chapter focuses on the specific practice research of the cultural scene design of the ancient city of Wuyang Island in Kaizhou,starting with the analysis of the site location,the current situation of the site and site selection,combined with the theoretical strategies above,and expresses and discusses the design basis through the scheme drawings.With the design ideas,the final summary and presentation of the design results.The sixth chapter summarizes the content of this paper and the conclusions of the design practice,and expresses the prospect of the future urban cultural development of the new city in the reservoir area.
