The long-standing,mysterious and splendid culture of Ba Shu contains a profound cultural heritage.The Ba shu symbols that appear on bronze vessels record the historical changes of the Ba shu people.The earthenware symbol is a symbol in the image of bronze earthenware,which appears on the weapon bronze gorget,bronze spear and seal,and is a symbol with the meaning of social ranking status in Shu culture.Together with the earthenware symbols,there are other symbols of Shu,such as the bell-shaped symbols,which inherit the culture of Shu with their unique symbolic forms.With the growing development of cultural and creative industries,cultural and creative products are becoming more and more popular among the general public.In order to promote the culture of Ba Shu and spread the earthenware symbols,this paper uses modern design techniques to reshape them and enrich the visual expression and threedimensional presentation of Ba Shu culture,so as to better awaken the public’s emotional return to traditional culture.First of all,the background and significance of the paper are discussed from the topic of the paper,and relevant domestic and foreign studies are analyzed.The concepts and definitions included in this paper are also introduced.The development lineage of earthenware symbols and different kinds of symbol combinations are sorted out.Taking earthenware symbols as the research object,the paper explores the application of earthenware symbols in cultural and creative design,and then argues the relationship between earthenware culture and cultural and creative design.Secondly,the development strategy of earthenware symbols in cultural and creative design is studied.By conducting questionnaires and field research,the target group is precisely positioned.From the basic appearance,pattern and texture,cultural carrier and other elements,the design method of the earthenware symbols in cultural and creative products will be fully developed,and corresponding design adjustments will be made.Research the principles and methods of applying earthenware symbols in the cultural and creative design.The innovative,practical and cultural design principles and the design method of breaking up prototypes,refining graphics,reshaping and product reengineering using the guidance of dot matrix topological engineering thinking were derived.Finally,through design practice,a series of cultural and creative product designs and related derivative products of teaware with earthenware symbols as design elements were completed.Combined with the contemporary popular elements,the form and connotation of the earthenware symbols were summarized,and the threedimensional expression and visual expression of the earthenware symbols were enriched,so that the Marsh culture could be inherited and developed in the contemporary society.
